Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Hmm. It’s interesting so many have had this on bottle. Appearance: Pours a clear, orangey-amber body with a taller, off-white head. Smell: Very punchy, hop-laden nose smelling richly of orange zest, grapefruit wedges, and pine sap. There’s a light backing of maltiness, but, for the most part, this is a hopcentric aroma. Taste: Brief, toasty maltiness with a crystal malt sweetness and hint of light brown sugar. Rich blend of citruses and pine with a medium-high hop bitterness. Finishes quite dry with a long, lingering bitterness and citric taste of grapefruit rinds. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Relatively smooth mouthfeel. Drinkability: Definitely not one of those wimpy, easy-going APAs you usually cross paths with. A very flavorsome, boldly hopped pale ale, but it still remains rather drinkable. Good work, Oskar Blues.

Pours amber with a light white head. Caramelly, hoppy aroma. Flavor is rich and hoppy for a pale. Lots of sweet malts and bitter bitter hops. A nice long bitter finish. Great flavor. This is pretty awesome for a pale.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet malty flavors, with a light pine hop character. A bit earthy but not to bitter.

On tap at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours a copper reddish hue, big fluffy head and prominent lacing. Very big on hops in the nose, some slight grainy malt. Tasty hoppy citrus flavors, some rich sweet malty gooeyness, sugars are thick and surprisingly full-bodied. Easy to put down, despite not being the most true to Pale Ale style. Screw styles

12 oz can. Pours a golden yellow color with a nice white head that has very nice retention and lacing. Aroma is a nice mellow citrus hop with a bit of malt poking through. Flavor is wonderful! There are nice citrus fruit notes and a nice balance of malty sweetness towards the end. This beer is very easy to drink and goes down as smooth as anything. This is a homerun! AND IT COMES IN A CAN!!!
