Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can. Light amber color with a resilient white head. Citrus and sweet caramel malt aroma. Flavor is citrus, spicy hops and sweet malt, caramel and fruit. Palate is smooth - coats the mouth and full bodied.

12 oz can. Pours a golden yellow color with a nice white head that has very nice retention and lacing. Aroma is a nice mellow citrus hop with a bit of malt poking through. Flavor is wonderful! There are nice citrus fruit notes and a nice balance of malty sweetness towards the end. This beer is very easy to drink and goes down as smooth as anything. This is a homerun! AND IT COMES IN A CAN!!!

Can. Earthy moderately sweet caramel aroma. Amber body, off-white head. Flavor is very similar to aroma, very malty and caramel, well-balanced. High quality apa.

Pours cloudy copper with small white head. I had heard about this brew but only now found it available here in Houston. What a great concept -- a good pale ale in a can for Mt. Biking, camping, etc. Aroma is fruity apples and nice malt. Some citrus in there too. Absolutely delicious and refreshing for a plain old pale ale in a can. I could drink this everyday. Nice alcohol kick that is well hidden too. This will turn into one of my favorites when camping, hiking, etc. (Easier to pack out than bottles). Count me in as a fan.

Clear copper; shy head. Fruity aroma - passionfruit? Medium body. Hoppy; borderline metallic. Unusual. I like this so far but I will try a few more cans and see if it gets better.

Received as bonus from Beerlando in a recent trade. Dirty golden pour with a half inch head. Good malty flavor right away with pleasant mild hoppy aftertaste. Very good, hope to get a chance to try this on tap someday.

Tap at Liars Club. One of the best pale ales out there , hands down. Great aroams of malts and hops, and very balanced flavor profile a swell. Very smooth with toffee accents that then finishes with more of a fruity, estery note. Smooth. I agree that the carbonation could be a bit more lively, that seems true even for the kegs.
