I had heard about this brew but only now found it available here in Houston. What a great concept -- a good pale ale in a can for Mt. Biking, camping, etc. Aroma is fruity apples and nice malt. Some citrus in there too. Absolutely delicious and refreshing for a plain old pale ale in a can. I could drink this everyday. Nice alcohol kick that is well hidden too. This will turn into one of my favorites when camping, hiking, etc. (Easier to pack out than bottles). Count me in as a fan.

Good malty flavor right away with pleasant mild hoppy aftertaste. Very good, hope to get a chance to try this on tap someday. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Tap at Liars Club. One of the best pale ales out there , hands down. Great aroams of malts and hops, and very balanced flavor profile a swell. Very smooth with toffee accents that then finishes with more of a fruity, estery note. Smooth. I agree that the carbonation could be a bit more lively, that seems true even for the kegs. illidurit (873), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 10, 2008 12 oz can poured into a nonic. Nice clear copper color, probably too dark to be called pale. Moderate ecru head leaves some sticky lace. Aroma is apples, grapefruit, and caramel. Initial flavor is all hops, with a sharp citrusy bite, followed by a sublime caramel finish which then melds into a residual bitterness. Very robust for a pale ale. Mouthfeel is a little undercarbonated, but the body has a nice heft to it and it‘s very drinkable. Soonah (910), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2008 On tap. Standard clear copper color with a short white head. Decent lacing. The aroma was light citrus and thin malt. The flavor was malt and earth and light citrus hoppiness. Light, easy drinking body. Not bad, just not anything truly special.
