Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can poured medium orange with a great creamy off white head. Medium caramel and malt aroma. Nice grassy and herbal hop bitterness. Not too much of a bite. Good malt to match the bitterness with a great chocolate malt flavor. My go to pale ale that you can find easily.

can a friend provided. Pours orange with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and hoppy and full of a punch of citrus. Taste is sweet and citrussy and more like an IPA. Great brew.

Smooth and refreshing? Yes. This is blowaway! My 16th beer at beerfest. Wish I tried it earlier in the year.

Bronze amber with a light hopped head. Medley of hops and caramel malt and twinge of fruitiness and old shoe.Flavor branches consistently from flavor. Hops, caramel malt and some fruitiness. More similar to a red/ESB than an APA in my opinion.

Strong taste for a pale. You can taste the quality of the hops. Not a lot of citrus or sweetness which is a nice change of pace for an ale this bitter. Very drinkable - I love drinking from a can again!

Always a treat. Amber with nice white head. Citrus hop aroma. Creamy and soft on the tongue with hops following close behind to spice things up. Dry and citrusy flavor. Nice and clean.

12 oz can: Aroma had a nice grassy/hoppy aroma, citrus, light caramel malt notes, and that’s about it. Poured a golden/ lightly amber pour with a fluffy white head that diminishes into a soapy white film. Taste is almost chewy. Hops and a melding of flvors makes this brew really interesting to me. Nicley carbonated and has a nice mouthfeel. Overall, I like this stuff. Would like it more if I could get it regularly in Michigan. Cheers!!
