weezfour (122), Oradell, New Jersey, USA Aug 11, 2008 What a surprise out of a can! Took this on a beach/camping trip and was not disappointed. Heavy hoppy hit up front, smooth but bitter finish. darn1207 (528), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 10, 2008 Surprised to see I hadn’t rated this - I’ve had many a six pack. 12oz can - hazy orange pour with a medium light tan head. floral and citrus hop aroma. clean well balanced pine taste. lingering bitter finish. all around fantastic brew. dkachur (2313), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 9, 2008 12 oz. can from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Clear orange pour with a BIG head. Good lacing and retention. Citrus and resin hop aroma. Citrus taste with an unexpected bittersweetness to it that reminded be a bit of anise. Interesting. soyorganic (217), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 8, 2008 Finally getting around to trying the beer. Initially I thought can beers were inferior thanks to macros. But I am glad I tried this and can’t believe I haven’t sooner. Just the right amount of hops for a pale, nice body and hard to put down. WISEGUY572 (1244), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 7, 2008 Draft at TRIA in Philadelphia. Good hazy dark orange, good head. Great nose of American hops. Taste of sweet malts, orange, pine, grapefruit, with a bitter finish. Almost an IPA. Nice. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Aug 6, 2008 Clear amber with a tight head. Nice aroma is caramel and mild piney hops. Medium body. Hop forward bitter flavora are grapefruit and pine sap with a smooth, sweet maltiness to balance. grant (792), Long Beach, CA/Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Aug 5, 2008 Cool can. Juicy hops, somewhat buttery/toffee araoma. Rather sweet, malty flavor with light citric hop notes. Lots of crystal malt here, it seems. Rather thick finish, lots of hop particulates which somewhat burn the throat. Good, but seems a little raw. DKTN (110), Mc Donald, Tennessee, USA Aug 3, 2008 Copper colored body with an off-white head. Bitter hops with floral and citrus notes. Bitter finish. Great!
