Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

355 ml can. Pours a slightly cloudy rather pale amber with a nice off-white head. Hoppy floral nose. Medium body. Initial semi-sweet malt base quickly followed by an ample hop bitterness. Quick dry finish.

Nice dark honey color with a puffy white head that recedes slowly and leaves nice lacing. Pure hop nose, grainy, earthy, weedy floral aroma. More of the same in the taste. I wish the malt backbone of this didn’t seem so watery up front, but the finish is nice and bitter. Very good.

Hoppy and Delish! Beer fan Dan stole that from me! I too sampled this at the Florida Beer Fest in St. Pete. I’m a big fan of the Old Chub (thanks Beer Fan Dan) and was very happy to have tried this one too.

Hoppy and delish! A superior American style pale ale. Sampled at the St. Pete Florida Craft Beer Fest. Very hoppy and crisp but not too strong. Oskar Blues continues to brew great beers!

Can. Pours an amber/brown, clear, with a small head. Aroma is surprisingly fruity. I was reminded of strawberry, raspberry, and banana Starburst candies. Flavor of the same fruits with a bitter finish. Incredibly delicious and as I said before, surprisingly fruity! Awesome APA and so drinkable.
