SCBrew (31), San Clemente, California, USA Jul 9, 2008 What a great Pale Ale! Pours clear orangey-copper. Aroma is fruity with hops standing out. Easy drinking and great flavor paytoplay (121), , California, USA Jul 9, 2008 Very impressed with this brew. On Tap at Hamiltons in SD CA. Nice smooth texture, has a weight to it. Smooth balanced finish. Very easy to drink. Minerals, and more malt than hop. Slightly hoppy nose. Subtle complexity. Really to eash to drink. brokephibroke (137), Mead, Colorado, USA Jul 8, 2008 beautiful herbal tea orange pour loaded with tiny bubbles, small white head. Caramel and grapefruit aroma. Long lasting hoppy bitterness, a great beer. I love the can and will often crack one as I summit one of the local peaks - you should see the looks of envy on the faces of fellow hikers! KnN (712), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Jul 7, 2008 Took plenty of ribbing from my beer drinking compadres for drinking beer out of a can, but what a beer out of a can. Pours a nice orange color with a fairly small head. Aroma is big citrus hop smell with a little bit of piney hops. Malt backbone is fairly strong. Easy drinker and a nice pale ale. hillfiiiiire (283), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jul 7, 2008 Pours hazy orange with a small head. Plenty of hops and sweetness in the aroma. Caramels and citrus hops on the tongue. Certainly not very bitter, but there’s a very nice balance of sweet and bitter to it. Took this with me for a weekend in Glacier. Certainly the perfect camping beer. Crit (2398), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jul 6, 2008 Cloudy amber, small beige head. Light citrus nose.Good hop/malt balance, with a medium strength hop finish drjay44 (757), Salida, Colorado, USA Jul 5, 2008 Not as big as I would have thought. Good balance, nice hopping, a wonderful additiion to canned beers. TeamTrappist (363), jericho, New York, USA Jul 4, 2008 Tap at Dive Bar. Poured a copper brown, with a thin head. This had a sweet hop nose. Med-thin mouthful that was very drinkable.A nice crisp beer with some decent hop flavor, not overpowering, but by no means lacking. Similar to the mother of most pale ales, sierra nevada, but with more flavor, and robustness.
