Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Very impressed with this brew. On Tap at Hamiltons in SD CA. Nice smooth texture, has a weight to it. Smooth balanced finish. Very easy to drink. Minerals, and more malt than hop. Slightly hoppy nose. Subtle complexity. Really to eash to drink.

beautiful herbal tea orange pour loaded with tiny bubbles, small white head. Caramel and grapefruit aroma. Long lasting hoppy bitterness, a great beer. I love the can and will often crack one as I summit one of the local peaks - you should see the looks of envy on the faces of fellow hikers!

Took plenty of ribbing from my beer drinking compadres for drinking beer out of a can, but what a beer out of a can. Pours a nice orange color with a fairly small head. Aroma is big citrus hop smell with a little bit of piney hops. Malt backbone is fairly strong. Easy drinker and a nice pale ale.

Pours hazy orange with a small head. Plenty of hops and sweetness in the aroma. Caramels and citrus hops on the tongue. Certainly not very bitter, but there’s a very nice balance of sweet and bitter to it. Took this with me for a weekend in Glacier. Certainly the perfect camping beer.

Tap at Dive Bar. Poured a copper brown, with a thin head. This had a sweet hop nose. Med-thin mouthful that was very drinkable.A nice crisp beer with some decent hop flavor, not overpowering, but by no means lacking. Similar to the mother of most pale ales, sierra nevada, but with more flavor, and robustness.

The was the other can and again what a surprise. I am so used to beer in a can being awful I almost passed this up. But this poured a golden color with rich fat head and good lacing. Nose of caramel malts and citrus hops, Smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor is slightly bitter and the finish is long and dry. Good stuff.
