Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can picked up at Woodman’s in Madison. Pours a honey golden with a big foamy off-white head that sticks around. Nice lacing. Sweet, potent hops aroma with floral hints. Flavor is grassy, floral and pleasantly sweet that becomes strongly bitter and finishes dry. Full bodied, creamy with a nice lingering bitterness. Excellent!

Pretty good, best beer I have ever had out of a can. Nice balance of hops and some malt. Lingering bitter finish. Piney hop taste typical of APAs. Doesn’t really stand out though, and not the smoothest or most drinkable beer.

Can courtesy of abcfan, pours hazy copper with little to no head. Aroma is pine, hops and citrus. First taste is sweet then hops bitter takes over. Strong mouthfeel with hops finish. Good can beer.

Can. Pours a clear copper color with a medium frothy off white head. The aroma is very hoppy and pine. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a also a strong hop and light malt finish. Just like the description big brew in a little can. A great American Pale Ale from Oskar Blues.

Absolutely a beautiful copper color. I wasn’t expecting this... I guess just cause it’s in a can I was expecting a watered down looking beer. Nice piney hops aroma. Flavor, as the aroma, is definitely intense at the beginning but really mellows as you drink it. It’s almost a roasty nutty bitterness. Simply awesome

Can. Pours a cloudy amber color with a thick off white head. Immediate caramel aroma fills the air after the can is cracked, some mild hops present as well. Flavor is bitter up front with a sweet caramel tasting middle and then finishing with a mild floral hop taste. Leaves a pleasant roasted aftertaste in my mouth. Pretty good overall.

This is a damn good APA. Full of malty goodness. Full of hoppy goodness. What an APA should be. Very Midwestern in its worship of the malt. Very West Coast in its worship of the hop. Pours a slightly hazy copperish amber with very little head. This comes in a acan - I am amazed a good beer like this comes in a can. This is after a growler of Alpine Duet.
