Grapefruit, sweet taste. Bitter. Dry, creamy, smooth aftertaste. gabrielsyme (66), Ohio, USA May 22, 2008 Can, of course. Pours medium amber with a medium white head. Great hop taste, split almost evenly between floral/orange and bitter grapefruit. very good EricE (446), Fairfax, Virginia, USA May 22, 2008 Updated: Jul 28, 2008Clear pale red-orange pour with a nice thick white head. Sweet hoppy aroma balanced with malt. Smells delicious! Very hoppy flavor to go with the aroma. Piny and fruity. Bitter, but balanced and tasty. A good brew. Hank1980 (734), Athens, Georgia, USA May 21, 2008 Pours a clear copper with a fluffy beige. Aroma of hops, with some pine and citrus. Taste is hoppy, though not as forward as some others. Finish is not too bitter, body is medium. Not a bad APA. FatPhil (3445), Espoo, Finland May 19, 2008 330ml can (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Bitter and Sour 2008)
Amber copper, tiny head. Citrus fruity hoppy aroma. Very lemony taste. Not lemonade, lemon. Very hoppy, grassy. Apart from that, or because of that, it’s pretty dull. mansquito (819), Boston/Philadelphia, USA May 19, 2008 Pours with a slightly off-white head (long-lasting) and a copper body. Nose is of the flowery hops. Really earthy hops. Not too much fruitiness. Almost a little on the sweet side. Grass all around. Pretty good stuff. BeerGestapo (725), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA May 18, 2008 (USA) Courtesy of AFI96, Thx Waylo. Color is amber with a thin off white head. There is a grassy / citrus aroma with a sharp hop taste. the finish is bitter but in a good way.!!! jcweaver (65), VA Beach, Virginia, USA May 18, 2008 Hops, hops and more hops but a nice balanced maltiness in the middle and a smooth finish. It pours a reddish amber color with a small but lasting head. A very aromatic hop aroma and a nice hop-pine-citrus flavor. One of my favorite pale ales.
