Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Clear pale red-orange pour with a nice thick white head. Sweet hoppy aroma balanced with malt. Smells delicious! Very hoppy flavor to go with the aroma. Piny and fruity. Bitter, but balanced and tasty. A good brew.

Pours a clear copper with a fluffy beige. Aroma of hops, with some pine and citrus. Taste is hoppy, though not as forward as some others. Finish is not too bitter, body is medium. Not a bad APA.

Amber copper, tiny head. Citrus fruity hoppy aroma. Very lemony taste. Not lemonade, lemon. Very hoppy, grassy. Apart from that, or because of that, it’s pretty dull.

Pours with a slightly off-white head (long-lasting) and a copper body. Nose is of the flowery hops. Really earthy hops. Not too much fruitiness. Almost a little on the sweet side. Grass all around. Pretty good stuff.

Hops, hops and more hops but a nice balanced maltiness in the middle and a smooth finish. It pours a reddish amber color with a small but lasting head. A very aromatic hop aroma and a nice hop-pine-citrus flavor. One of my favorite pale ales.

(Canned) Hazy amber with a small, but firm and lacy head. Smoothly pine-hoppy aroma with nutty-toffeeish maltiness. Sweetish, very aromatic-hoppy, pine-citrusy flavor with a strongly bitter, dry finish. Medium-bodied, dry and bitter palate with soft carbonation. Bitterness is a tad harsh, but other than that, this is a pretty solid and balanced, strongly hopped pale ale.

Can. Body-dark honey brown with a lasting foamy off white head with good lacing. Nose-flat pale ale, crisp PNW hops. Taste-very clean, just the right amount of hops, biscuit malts, light unacidic citrus, grape, light grass, medium CO2, very light white spices, light bread, low alcohol, light earth/soil, light astringency on the finish. All in all, one helluva beer.
