sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland May 18, 2008 (Canned) Hazy amber with a small, but firm and lacy head. Smoothly pine-hoppy aroma with nutty-toffeeish maltiness. Sweetish, very aromatic-hoppy, pine-citrusy flavor with a strongly bitter, dry finish. Medium-bodied, dry and bitter palate with soft carbonation. Bitterness is a tad harsh, but other than that, this is a pretty solid and balanced, strongly hopped pale ale. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA May 15, 2008 Can. Body-dark honey brown with a lasting foamy off white head with good lacing. Nose-flat pale ale, crisp PNW hops. Taste-very clean, just the right amount of hops, biscuit malts, light unacidic citrus, grape, light grass, medium CO2, very light white spices, light bread, low alcohol, light earth/soil, light astringency on the finish. All in all, one helluva beer. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA May 14, 2008 Draft for pint night at Greenleafe cafe. Reddish amber with ample slightly off-white head. Very fruity hop aroma follows through in the flavor. Malty backbone is not evident but clearly balances the beer extremely well. No lingering bitterness travita (1851), Frisco, Texas, USA May 14, 2008 Amber colored to almost red in color with nice foamy head. The smell wafts into our nose with hops, grass, malt. Good balance there. Smooth crisp taste. Superb feel at the back of the mouth. zamco17 (134), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA May 13, 2008 By far the best beer i have ever had in a can, reminds me of sierra celebration , but its available year round so i like it more!! : ) dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA May 13, 2008 the best beer from a can hands down. plus my name is dale so this has to be good! craftbeerdesign (731), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA May 11, 2008 can. outstanding APA!!! pours a nice clear copper with a 1/4" white head which slims down a bit, but lasts throughout. great pine and earth hop aromas... medium body with a bit of cream, caramel and solid bitterness... especially on the finish. very clean and well balanced. The malts shine through quite well... Oskar Blues knows how to make some damn good beer... and canning it is brilliant. cmillward (418), Orlando, Florida, USA May 11, 2008 On draft @ redlight.
