Very fruity hop aroma follows through in the flavor. Malty backbone is not evident but clearly balances the beer extremely well. No lingering bitterness travita (1887), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | May 10, 2008 Copper beer, lasting 2 inch, thick, white head. Floral bouquet aroma of delicious hops. Naturally lush, hoppy, sweet flavor. Very clean. Very delicious. Medium light, excellent palate. Smooth taste, finish, and a drinkablility that Adolphus Busch dreamed about. Finally a real beer, and a damn good one at that, that we can take down the river, and all those other places where you prefer cans over bottles. To sum it up in 12 words, this beer is the beer that other brewers have wet dreams about. Oh, and the lacing is superb, but drink it from the can. I just had to pour this one out to do it proper rating justice. You’re damn right, fun in the great outdoors calls for a great beer, and with Dale’s we finally have one. Worth every penny and then some. Overall impression of 20 for having the balls to produce such a *W i L D** and great product and puT iT iN a cAN!!! daninferior (4), USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2008 pours and smells really nice, lots of head, nice hoppy aroma, actually smells better than it tastes, not bad for a can beer, kinda creamy for a pale ale, mild hop attributes, nothing to aggressive
