Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can. Amber with a huge offwhite head, a little unclear. Very aromatic with hopp aromas, citrus, floral notes. Malty taste and quite much hoppy bitterness in the end. A nice beer. This one reminds me a lot of Mikkellers hoppy IPAs.

Pours clear orange amber with a very thin white head. Strong citrus hop aroma. Beautiful hop flavor with a bit of an earthy flavor on the finish. Not quite as high drinkability as some pale ales, but a very good beer nonetheless.

Pours a beautifully crisp, clear honey amber with a tall foamy white head. Pouring just wafts hop aromas into the air. A closer smell reveals some light malt and fruit tones too. Initial taste is almost apple juice like. The finish has an excellent layered hop character that leaves just a little sweet bitterness on the tongue for a while after swallowed. Ultra smooth body.

This is the finest pale ale that I have had the opportunity to consume. I often describe it as a brew for an I.P.A. drinker who would like something a bit lighter. I feel that most pale ale drinkers would find it to be overly hoppy. As many others have said, this beer is proof that a can can hold and incredible full bodied ballsy beer.

Can poured into a lager glass. Nice hoppy aroma with a really nice brownish color. The head was solid and stuck around. Very well balanced but the hops still really pop out at you. I loved this beer. I have to say I was very impressed. Thanks to the can a new camping or festival top pick. Can’t beat it. Thanks Dale.
