Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

12oz can. Pours a clear orange with a thin off-white head. Nice strong smell of pine and citrus with some malt sweetness noticeable. Taste is pine, pine, pine with a hint of citrus. Yummy! Mouthfeel is medium with a good bitter aftertaste. Much like an IPA. Would have liked it a tad sweeter though it is still definitely the best pale I’ve had. Glad it is finally available in Texas.

deep amber pour with a thin white head up top. citrusy hop scent on the nose that is real promising. wow that’s incredibly smoother than i was expecting. the hops are just as smooth in the flavor. i can say that i’m pretty happy that we get this in tx now.

Pours a filtered liquid gold color. Looks fantastic in the glass. The head is medium bodied with a small amount of lacing that lingers. The aroma is of pine, hops, with a touch of citrus. The mouthfeel is medium sharp with a decent amout of carbonation. Flavor is very hoppy for only a pale ale (i.e. not an IPA). The finish has the sting of bright hop flavors unlike anything I have had. Great beer!

Absolutely delicious beer in a can! Im so glad to see this in Wisc. Pours a vibrant orange colour with a nice full white head. Aroma is citrus with bright fruit, floral notes throughout the beer. and plenty of carbonation to keep this beer bubbling for a while. A winner from OB!

Heavy hoppy aroma. Huge, frothy, white head. Excellent lacing. Fully lasting longevity. Clear, orange body. Moderate bitter initial flavor, with a long finish duration. Medium palate.

Pours copper with rocky off-white head. Aroma is a tried and true combination of pale malt and citrus hops with some great caramel and butter toffee notes also coming through. Flavor has great bitterness for a pale ale in the form of grapefruit hoppiness balanced with some caramel malts. Smooth, full body. One of the best pales I’ve ever had.
