Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Apr 12, 2008 Can poured into a lager glass. Nice hoppy aroma with a really nice brownish color. The head was solid and stuck around. Very well balanced but the hops still really pop out at you. I loved this beer. I have to say I was very impressed. Thanks to the can a new camping or festival top pick. Can’t beat it. Thanks Dale. HenrikSoegaard (4263), Randers, Denmark Apr 11, 2008 Can. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Powerfull hoppy fruity aroma. Malt detected very complex. Powerfull hopy flavor. Very nice moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Fantastic well-balaced beer. jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA Apr 9, 2008 Can. Pours a yellowish amber with a decent off white head. There is some lacing left on the glass. The aroma is lightly hoppy with some citrus flavors coming out. The taste is slightly sweetness but then the bitterness come on strong. There is a bit of apple in the flavor. The body is medium and the finish is dry. This is an excellent beer although this seems a bit more of an IPA than an American Pale ale. janelso3 (7), USA does not count Apr 8, 2008 This is a great beer. Not as good as Dogfish Head (which I consider to be the gold standard of IPAs), but excellent nonetheless. The best (or maybe only) IPA you will ever find in a can. Delicious hops, but extremely short finish. Still, recommended. glennmastrange (807), hobe sound, Florida, USA Apr 7, 2008 Can. Moderate aromas of light bread, roasted and caramel for the malt, moderate to heavy hop smells of sweet orange, light leather fir the yeast, toffee and a faint berry note in the background. Head is creamy, white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic and the long finish is lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a soft carbonation. It finishes lightly astringent. Another surprise from OB out of a can. Both a good drinking beer and a quality sipping beer. popdoggy (100), USA Apr 5, 2008 I am no the biggest fan of pale ales, but this one is definately at the top of the heap.
Smooth mouthfeel, easyily drinkability. This is a great product, and will make me try oskar blues again. I think the can is wonderful, and the beer tasted very fresh tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Apr 5, 2008 355 ml can, shared with my neighbour Kjetil. 1/3 of the can on table and floor before I reached the glass. Hazy amber color, off-white head. Aroma is ok hops. Flavor is hops and sweet malt, but most of all watery. Boring, a big disappointment. Must be something wrong with this can - maybe I will re-rate it one day. fiver29 (703), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Apr 4, 2008 Can from ucusty. Pours a orange/amber color with a nice off white head. Has a slight hop aroma that leads to a nice hoppy ale. Isn’t overpowering a has a nice sweet malt flavor on the back end. A highly hopped pale ale. I love it!
