Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Pours a cloudy brown with a nice thick head. hops on the nose along with citrus. Smooth hops oon the palate with just a touch of too much bitterness for my liking. Overall a good beer for the style.

Pours with a slightly cloudy amber-orange body topped by a thin to medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly bitter with an underlying sweetness, a touch of hops and a little mustiness. Medium bodied and smooth.

Can. Pours a deep coppery brown with good sized white head. Aroma is big time floral hops. Taste is smooth and bitter with long flavorful hop finish. I think the ratings here (including mine) are influenced by the novelty of having a good beer in a can.

Copper color with thick foamy head, lacing, and lots of bubbles. Fruity and earthy hop aromas. Nice, dry, robust malt, quaffable, and balanced. Good stuff.

A go-to brew of mine for a while now. Nice, fluffy head. Cloudy amber color. Spicy, floral hop aroma. Taste is solid: perfectly bitter. Smooth, medium body. A great beer in a can? Yes please.

APA from a can?! well i tasted it on draft at barleys in greenville and it was quite good. color was light amber with no lacing. aroma is citrusy with orange and grapefruit, hints of pine with some floral notes as well. flavor was nicely balanced with hoppy bitterness taking the lead and malty sweetness in the finish. mouthfeel is medium bodied and the beer lingers with sweetness. overall, quite good if you can get over drinking it from a can.

thanks josh. clear amber with a good white head that settles into a thin film. aroma caramel grassy hops with a touch of citrus. bittersweet piney caramel flavor with a lasting bitter caramel grapefruit finish. finish a bit overly bitter. medium body moderate carbonation. decent pale i would drink it again but i dont know if it lives up to the hype.

can. white average fizzy head into cloudy orange body. good lacing present. aromas of light caramel and light to moderate floral hops. flavor is bitter-sweet throughout. I am not sure I would actually call this an APA it has way more flavor that I am used to from this style. I would love to have a cold six-pack of this on a camping trip.
