Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Pours a really hazy honey color with a thin off-white head. Huge grapefruit nose with some honey and a little bit of floral in there as well. Flavor is a really nice earthy hop. A little bit of citrus and floral round it out. A light body without much carbonation, but has an excellent body and mouthfeel. One of the best American Pale Ales that I’ve had.

Another awesome beer from the Oskar Blues can. Do they make any bad beers? This is the third beer I’ve tried from them and their all good. Pours a smooth cooper color with a slight head, with minimal lacing that hangs on the sides of the glass. Very smooth and sweet flavor with just the right amount of bitterness. Very drinkable APA.

Canned! Golden-amber colour with a white film on top. Pleasant aroma of cotton candy, sweet hops and a hint of raspberries? Great hop flavour but definitely not overpowering or grossly bitter. Very pleasant.

Very tasty brew! This stuff is very surprising coming from a canned beer. Aroma is very sweet and pours a hazy orange color with a crisp white head. taste is a hoppy sweet flavor. finishies very smooth. Would drink again.

pours thick amber, fluffy tan head. subtle aroma, probably too subtle, with only a hoppy hint. the flavor is not complex enough, and is slightly bitter. a watery mouth feel. weakly disappointing. but cornfield, rayboy01, jackson220, elgaucho, frankenkitty, brideoffrankenkitty and a couple others know why i think the name is just plain cool.

12 oz. can - pours clear copper with big creamy head; slight suspended haze and quite a bit of lacing;aromas are of malts, sweet candy and a little hops; flavor a little on the light side, but body becomes creamy as it warms

can from 7th street spirits. this was my second installment from oskar blues and I must say I am really digging their style. At first taste the hops attack the tastebuds creating a burnt bitter flavor but as the palate adjusts and the beer warms the beer is really enjoyed. This is one that you have to be patient with - donit write it off too early. Pours golden slightly darker than the standard APA. Smell is rich and very full - sweet and citrusy. tastes is very much like the smell. well done.
