fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Feb 22, 2008 12 oz can courtesy of ... oh .... ME!.... brought to our mini tasting with Padrefan98 and stefanje. Aromas were mild hoppy with touches of vanilla and lemon. Flavors were decent hoppy grapefruit without being super extreme. This was a nice lead in to a night of IPA’s and Imperial IPA’s. moseslikesbeer (183), conestoga, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 19, 2008 smells very malty and like brown sugar. I don’t really smell the hops like everyone is saying. huge off white light brown head. tons of carbonation. orange copper color. tastes very hoppy even though it doesn’t smell like it at all. tastes like malty tangerines. great lacing. too hoppy and tangy for me. when I get a good mix of the creamy head and the beer it’s good otherwise it’s not my thing. much better though than the other beer I had by this Co. very good if you like a hoppy palate. they want you to take this brew in the great outdoors....I’m afraid I would only be able to drink one of these around a camp fire. too much going on to be a camp fire beer. it’s not swill but I don’t think it’s awesome either. KateO (6), Holiday, Florida, USA does not count Feb 18, 2008 Tasted with BigMilly: Its a honey color thats very fizzy. It smells sweet and orangy. The taste is hoppy and bitter with little to no aftertaste. A mediumish body. Not to bad, but I’m not a hoppy girl. BigMilly8 (374), Holiday, Florida, USA Feb 18, 2008 From can : Big time citrus hop aroma, as soon as you pour it you get a big whif of it. Pours a hazy amber gold color with a finger of white froathy head, that leaves some really nice lacing. Really a nice smooth hoppy taste, not much bitterness at all, but a really nice hop taste. Gets a little watery towards the end, but still good. Aftertaste is hints of hops, but not much. Medium body, and a really good feel in the mouth. I think this just became my #1 choice for a camping canned beer. LongJaw (7), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA does not count Feb 18, 2008 Nice roasted, hoppy flavor with a hint of sweetness, along with a great 6-pack price, makes this my current favorite "every day" beer. Goodgrief (1144), Middletown, Delaware, USA Feb 18, 2008 Delicious. Pour was orangey brown, fantastic head and lacing. Aroma of faint grapefruits and caramel. The flavor was citrus, grapefruit and oranges, with hints of caramel. Silky smooth mouthfeel. Well balanced brew. This reminds me a lot of Bells Two Hearted, and that’s a good thing! alexsdad06 (1056), Ohio, USA Feb 18, 2008 12 oz.can. Pours a clear amber color with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet malt, good citrus, and hoppy. The flavor is medium sweet malt, pine, citrus, and earthy. I love the balance of this beer. This is one I could drink all the time if it were more readily available and it happens to come in a can. Awesome!
