Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can. Pours an opaque copper-honey flavor w/ a light off white head. Malty and citrus aroma. Very smooth pale ale, easy on the palate. Almost has a creamy feel to hit. Surprising for an ale. Nice brew.

Re-rate because last time it was too warm. Good beer from a can. Nice amber body, big head. Hoppy decliciousness. Almost creamy smooth, with a bitter finish.

12oz can. Thanks Matt! pours with a towering foamy off white head. Bright copper color. Big bright hop bouquet. fresh and juicy hop character with a low level of bitterness. fresh and easy a real quaffer but with plenty of flavor to enjoy. man i would love to have access to this stuff! this is what my summer has been missing: delicious beer in a can! what does this stuff cost. you can’t get it in il or mo.

Quick chilled in the freezer and it got too cold for head, unfortunately. The pour is amber brown. The aroma is sweet pale malt and the flavor is sweet malt with a nice hop flavor that isn’t overbearing. This really reminds me of homebrew for some reason.

On tap and 12oz can. Poured a burnt orange with a big three finger white head that left rings of lace. The smell was a mixture of sweet malt and citrus hops. The taste started off with a sweet honey and caramel malt which was followed by some citrus hops and a bitter finish. Smooth medium body with good carbonation.

On tap at the Longmont tasting room on 7/16/09. Pours solid orange with wonderful off white head and good lacing as I drank. Great earthy floral hops aroma. Incredibly smooth light bodied pale ale with a good bitter, clean finish. Have loved this in cans for a while, but on tap is just amazing.

330 ML can in the USA. Not sure what happened, first canned beer I had in years, but I must have gotten a bad can compared to the other ratings here. But I have to rate it as I saw it. Cherry amber color, light head, heavy metal taste with a sharp stabbing aftertaste. Might re-rate another time but this was nasty. I could not finish it.
