Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

I bought a sixer hearing good things about it but I still had doubts about a good beer being canned. I was pleasantly surprised with this beer however. Pours a clear orange/light amber with a nice head with great lacing. Aroma is very powerful- much moreso than snpa. Lots of citrus, orange, pine and some grapefruit in the aroma with lots of pale and crystal malt ot back up the flavor. Mouthfeel was ok but I think this had a somewhat slick finish due to filtration that I dont normally like.

(Can) Sampled at the Central New York Brewfest in Syracuse, NY. I heard the rep bragging that they are the first brewery to go to a full canning production line. Medium tan head with a deep orange body. Nose of smoked out cascade hops. The flavour is somewhat lactic and hoppy yet good in a strange way.

330ml can (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Bitter and Sour 2008)
Amber copper, tiny head. Citrus fruity hoppy aroma. Very lemony taste. Not lemonade, lemon. Very hoppy, grassy. Apart from that, or because of that, it’s pretty dull.

Thanks to Casey for this can Poured light amber with a wispy white head, hops were very evident on the nose and what a great hoppy bite ’Hoptastic’!, this really suprised me and was one lovely beer, I can’t remember the last time I had beer out of a can, great beer only one think I think I could criticise this for was that it was maybe a little sweet although the hoppiness and bitterness did it’s best to push the sweet maltyness to one side. Cheers Casey

Canned. Hazy golden with a creamy off-white head. A lot of hoppy citrus and resin. Fruity and really fresh flavour. Sweet maltiness with notes of toffee and dry bitterness.

[Canned, SBWF] Clear amber colour. Deep fatty hop nose. Pale malty with some sweetness and loaded with citrusy and flowery hops in flavour. Soapy, bit earthy mouthfeel. Good bitter finish.

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a hazy orange with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light pine with a smooth dry lightly bitter finish.
