Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

can a friend provided. Pours orange with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and hoppy and full of a punch of citrus. Taste is sweet and citrussy and more like an IPA. Great brew.

Orange colored with slight cloudiness. Little white head. Strong fruits and caramel in aroma, some rich aromatic flowery hops also here. Medium bodied. Flavor is more hopped with same aromatic flowers, soapy palated hops here too. Aftertaste lasts with same bitter fruits. Rich flavored pa.

Medium offwhite lasting head. Amber body. Powerful hoppy mango aroma with malty notes. Firm dry-sweetish taste of resiny hoppy mango and malts. Dry medicinal resiny malty aftertaste. Very nice! An excellent beer! (0.355l can from Charlene, shared on the bus to RBNAG’07.)

In the can. At first, I was quite skeptical of any craft brew served out of a can. Now, I’m not so sure. Copper amber in color with a substantial white big bubble head. Strong hop aroma. Great IPA hoppy flavor. Nicely balanced on the bitter side. Now, if I could only get over the ambiance of the can...

Draught at Oliver twist, Stockholm. pours out in a clear amber colour with a rich creamy white foam. Nice grapefruity hop aroma with touches of flowers, honey, all-spice and caramel. dryish hoppy flavour of grapefruit and lemon-rind with subtle notes of caramel. Bitter grapefruity finish. A hoppy and tasty take of the style.
