Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can from Nessun Dorma. First off, what can I say, other than phenominal brew. Best dammed beer ever put into a can. Nice amber body with a cream of wheat off-white head. Good lacing. The aroma was a touch light but smelled of citrus and floral hops. The flavor is a nice citrus, pine, light floral, and a deep toasty caramel malt. The palate is medium-full bodied, creamy, rich, delicious. Chewy. Awesome brew in a can.

Fruity, hoppy, and beer cheese - apricot and peach. Orange-gold color, slightly cloudy. Low off-white head. Low medium carb and heavy watery body. Nice and hoppy! Not too bitter - nice balance with malts. Subtle bitter finish and slight nutty after. Crisp and refreshing. Well-balanced pale ale.

Man to bad they don’t sell this off the beer cart at golf courses. I would get this over a Bud or Miller any day. Had a sampler at the Beer Fest but bought a full can to get better insight of the beer. Malty aroma and hop flavor with out that alcohol bite to it. Was a enjoyable beer.

Looks fantastic, smells great. Flavor has a nice bite of bitterness up front, but it is excellently balance and the flavor is smooth and spciy at the same time. Pretty great stuff.

Hazy bright copper coloured body with a dense tan head, poured with the reverse guinness effect out of a non-nitrogenated CAN! Aroma of fresh grapefruit, pine and floral hops, tons of malt, some caramalised sugars, a bit of yeast and a light spice. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour up front, full with a great malt backbone all the way through. Aftertaste lacks a little bit...only the hops come through with some mild malt and some sugars. Overall, a much better than expected beer, even though it had gotten good reviews. My favourite american canned beer, and one I’d like to keep on hand regularly - this one rivals some of Dominion’s strongholds on the APA category! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased in a six-pack from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia by good friend Phil (haddon90). I drank this one on 18-January-2005, courtesy of Phil-thanks again mate!

Can shared with jerc - his can. Clear, dark amber with a good sized tan head. Pleasant hoppy aroma with some sweet orange notes. Very well balanced & integrated flavour with complimentary malt and hop notes, leading to a moderately bitter and slightly citric finish. A really nice pale, and easily one of the best canned beers I’ve had.

12oz can via trade with Bück Dich! - Thanks Jordan! - Pours amber and pretty clear.with a fair offwhite head. Aromas of grapefruit and floral hops. Flavor is hoppy with lots of citrus notes and some grains and caramel malts beneath it. Pretty chewy and definitely quite drinkable on the palate. I like this alot and found it to be a fantastic pale ale. So much for hating beer in a can.

On tap GABF ’02: Light resiny/citrus aroma with some malt that comes from its hazy orange body. Thick oily palate. Bitter throughout, but only lightly so. Burnt taste in the background and very robust malt profile.
