Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

clear amber, whispy white head, light sweet malt aroma with a touch of hops, good malt flavor, mostly dry, hint of sweet pine, nice balancing bitterness, milder than the can but still a tasty quaffable

you can’t keep fresh kegs when you have 200 taps

a old can from a very cold fridge does not hold up any better than an old keg from a place that does not rotate kegs very often, but still quite tasty when stale

Copper colour. Low carbonation – nice one. Resiny, woody c-hops in the aroma with crystal malts and a hint of florals. Well-balanced body shows toasty notes and floral/citric hoppiness. Fairly bitter example.

Canned is still good (the can to go for), but looses the freshness it has on draught, the body, the hopping.

Draught at Five Point restaurant, NYC, 2006-12-29, 7-4-7-5-15
Hazy amber color; thin creamy head. Nice hoppy aroma, with some fruitness (oranges). Some malt flavor, with sweet caramel, and good hopping with some resins. Good, balanced.

Clear amber body topped by medium beige head. Aroma is mild sweet, earthy, pine, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, earthy, pine, caramel, light spice. Medium body. As others have noted, impressive that this comes in a can.

Can
Light copper brown, small white head. Flowery American hops in the nose. Medium-bodied, good malt profile with some hoppyness. Balanced American pale ale, which has some character of IPA.

Can at The Rover in Göteborg. Red-golden with a nice, creamy head. The aroma is nice and hoppy with notes of fruit and citrus. The flavour has a nice caramel base, notes of fruit, oranges and grapefruit and a hint of honey. Harmonic and nice. 2378
