Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Canned from BevMo. Dark amber/golden in color. Somewhat sweet and hoppy aroma. Hops and malts up front. A little bit of breadiness. Good solid APA. Nice balance with a good amount of bitterness.

Like Kevin had this beer while cleaning fish. Later took it inside and poured it into a glass. Nice hops and malt aroma from what I could tell. It looked as good as it tasted a nice hazy light orange. A good hop bit on the taste but good balance with the malt and alcohol. Just a tad light and foamy on the palate kept it from being as good as it could be. Best beer I’ve ever had from a can. Much thanks to Springslicker

clear golden amber, frothy head. Beautiful aroma full of fruity, juicy hops and intriguing sweetness..caramelly malt with spicy-like hops..clean, super balanced and super flavorful with an underlying sweetness. Quite hoppy...grassy with caramelly and slightly fruity malt flavors...Quite a treat, freakin’ a man, if they had these cans available round these parts, I would surely make this my exclusive beach beer...In fact, i think its time to talk to some distributors.

Orange-amber in colour, large lingering off-white coloured head, good retention, good lacing. The aroma was piney, some caramel, grapefruit and lots of citrus in general. The flavour is very hoppy, pine and grapefruit balance by some wood and earthy notes, creamy and bitter. Very full and bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. FInishes long, floral, very hoppy, excellent bitterness. Wonderful balance, very nice hop bite. very enjoyable.

355ml can from the <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/new-york target=blank>Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York for $1.59.

Pours a clear amber color with a big off white head. Nice lacing left as the head slowly settles. Nice floral, citrus hop aroma. Flavor is lightly hopped with some noticeable caramel malt. No metalic flavor that you might expect from a canned beer. Very smooth medium body beer. The best canned beer I have ever had. Hands down. I will pick up a couple of 6ers the next time I go tubbin’ down the salt river. A must try.

Can thanks to captaincougar: Orangish amber pour, with a medium off white head. Aroma is citrus and spicy hops, I don’t pick up much of any malt character. Flavor, citrusy, from start to finish, with a well bittered after taste. Really an excellent APA.

a light golden orange colo rw/ a full thick small bubled white head and soem great lacing. Aroma is mostly hop a spicy note and a good floral hop aroma. Palate is full well coated and lightly creamy. Flavor is a very nice APA, good amount of nice hop some floral and definate citrus notes w/ a full malty backbone. Very good.. I can’t believe this came in a can.

Nice amber color, large white head that had a decent hang time then faded to leave a bit of a lace behind.Malty citrusy aroma upfront with plenty of hops coming through. The flavor was much better then i was expecting it to be.Nice malty side with a strong showing of citrus and hops with a nice bitterness hanging on from the middle to the end.Very nice brew with way more flavor then i was expecting to see from a can thats for sure.I guess if this was a localy attainable brew i’d buy more of it for sure but for now the one can will have to do.
