Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Nice amber color, large white head that had a decent hang time then faded to leave a bit of a lace behind.Malty citrusy aroma upfront with plenty of hops coming through. The flavor was much better then i was expecting it to be.Nice malty side with a strong showing of citrus and hops with a nice bitterness hanging on from the middle to the end.Very nice brew with way more flavor then i was expecting to see from a can thats for sure.I guess if this was a localy attainable brew i’d buy more of it for sure but for now the one can will have to do.

pours a magnificent copper, with a big frothy off white head. is this really a canned beer? Aroma is citrus, and some caramel malt, Taste is bitter citrus, a good amount of malt backbone with a refreshing hoppy finish. well done.

can-tucson beer fest: this was a good beer, unfortunately, it was in a can, so the flavor had some metallic presence. The malts were nice for a pale and the hops were quite tame-sweetness between hops and malts was very good. maybe i should try this on tap sometime!

12 oz can courtesy of ... oh .... ME!.... brought to our mini tasting with Padrefan98 and stefanje. Aromas were mild hoppy with touches of vanilla and lemon. Flavors were decent hoppy grapefruit without being super extreme. This was a nice lead in to a night of IPA’s and Imperial IPA’s.

Can at the LI Beer Festival. Being a beer can collector, I especially enjoy seeing microbrews using cans. The brewer explained to me the new technology in cans these days makes them better carriers for beer than bottles. If this beer and Old Chub are any indication, they’re right. Nice fruity hop aroma and flavor. Also the appropriate amount of hop bitterness. I’d love to see these on my local shelves.

Absolutely delicious beer in a can! Im so glad to see this in Wisc. Pours a vibrant orange colour with a nice full white head. Aroma is citrus with bright fruit, floral notes throughout the beer. and plenty of carbonation to keep this beer bubbling for a while. A winner from OB!

Bronze amber with a light hopped head. Medley of hops and caramel malt and twinge of fruitiness and old shoe.Flavor branches consistently from flavor. Hops, caramel malt and some fruitiness. More similar to a red/ESB than an APA in my opinion.

Hazed deep orange, creamy off-white head. Rich hopped up nose of mango, citrus, pineapple and apricot. Layered undertones of toasted caramel and molasses play out upon warming. Juicy floral and citrus hop tones balance well with a near perfect toffee and caramel backbone. Slight hints of pine are noted late. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying bittersweet finish. Do I dare say I love it in the can? There...I said it...and it’s damn funny...
