Pours a vibrant orange colour with a nice full white head. Aroma is citrus with bright fruit, floral notes throughout the beer. and plenty of carbonation to keep this beer bubbling for a while. A winner from OB! travita (1952), Frisco, Texas, USA

It’s an American beer from a can, and it doesn’t suck. My world no longer makes sense. Pours out a deep copper, absolutely stunning head, very thick and creamy, stays around for a simply amazing amount of time. Nose quite hoppy, some pine resin there and citrius. Flavor rather good, initial hoppy bit followed by some sweet malts, though not as sweet as it could be. Certainly can’t fault it for mouthfeel, extremely full and creamy. Looks and feels beautiful, smells good, tastes good. Quite nice. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

It has a very smooth hop aroma with some pine and earth. The flavor is a little bitter with a zesty bite and a pine-sap like finish. It gets just a little bit sweet as I drink more. Decent balance. Big malty taste followed by some candy/caramel notes with a big hop finish. Moderate amount of citrus. Lightly metallica but that’s okay. This is a damn fine beer in a can. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2006 Translucent, magnifying and polished brass in color with a booming, dense, frothy orange cream head reaching one-inch high in the tulip. Meringue and sugar crusted orange cereal begin the aromatic sequence, followed by a sweet rustic c-hop agenda, orange-pina-grapefruit smoothies and puce sugar cane. The puce hoppiness bears the brunt of a piney-nectar flavor infatuation while harvesting ruby red grapefruit that’s two days past its prime. Buttery substitute slides down orange blossom muffins, with a top crusted with rock candi sugar and hop soot. Oily, bitter pricks and a hint of steel as it fades. The caramel toffee tune-up gives it a husky dominion. Spicy orange toffee, tropical oatmeal and livening bitter sweet hop derivatives bring us to a close.
