Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Clear amber with a tight head. Nice aroma is caramel and mild piney hops. Medium body. Hop forward bitter flavora are grapefruit and pine sap with a smooth, sweet maltiness to balance.

A perfume and grapefruit aroma. The apperance is a dark orange with a moderate head. The flavor is quite bitter with some peaches, grapefruit, and lemons present. A slight pine presence is also detected. Awesome pale ale! Dont let the can fool you!

Can while cleaning finish. Strong malty spice with a light licorice nose. Flavor is cotton candy at first then an enveloping tang and spice. A bit overbearing in the sugar category. Someone showed me a bit of this in a glass and it was a hazed yellow orange. Ap-3 ar-6 tas-6 pal-2 ov-12

Pours amber with a slight haze. Fluffy off white head that slowly settles to some becoming islands. Picture esque thick lacing. Nice fresh piney hop aroma with notable hints of mace. Crisp and refreshing beer. well balanced between hops and malt. very nice indeed! This definitely will be with me on my next trip to the beach

12 oz can. Amber with a big off white head that diminishes to a dense white film. Srtong caramel in the nose, resiny pine. Wonderfully balanced flavor, caramel and toffee, piney hop. The finish is really interesting - initially, a big hop bite, then an orangey caramel sweetness, then more piney hop. Wonderful APA!

This copper ale poured with a decent beige head and a floral aroma from the finishing hops. The flavor is pale malt with fair amounts of citrus and hop bitterness.

This was one of the stranger experiencs I hae had in a good while. I cracked the tab on a CAN of beer, I smelled hops, the beer was not the color of my piss after drinking a gall0on of water. What the hell is this stuff! Clear amber with a pillowy manilla head. Crisp hoppy aroma. The flavor is a good mix of bitter citrus hops and some sweet malts. Medium bodied. Every sip I take I am amazed that this beer came from a can. Maybe it is a gimmick but the beer is quite nice. Look at that can over in that picuture I took and imagine a good an above average APA lurking behind thise aluminum walls.
