Appearance is blue and red Aluminium with white writing. Just kidding, I poured a little bit into a glass for the rating. Pours a light amber with medium sized, off white head that quickly fades to a cover. Nice lacing. The aroma is centennial-grapefruit, and caramel. The flavor is semi-sweet, caramels, pine and citrus. Lots of hop flavor, little bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth. Best can of beer I’ve ever had. Palidor19 (1773), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Another Winner from Oskar. Its got great concentration of malt and hops. Pinney, citrus hops in the beginning but not so much as the beer progresses. Palate also starts off strong then thins out. Recommended. sunevdj (1771), Copenhagen OE, Denmark

Bright white micro-bubble head leaves significant lacing as it slowly recedes. Pine, grass and citrus notes. Upfront sweet caramel, creamy bodied, with a lasting slight grapefruit alcohol finish. Very well balanced, but leans a little too sweet. Tastes great straight from the can. tjthresh (1770), Greenfield, Indiana, USA

Pretty good hoppy sweet aroma. Clean orangey amber with a khaki head. Well balanced with a plesant bitterness. Short finish. Medium to full body with the perfect level of carbonation. I love the can. I wish this would make it over to MOKAN. Welcome in my glass anytime. rudolf (1767), Buffalo, New York, USA

Nose is largely caramel, some floral nose, a bit of fruit (strawberry?) Flavor is caramel, nuts, well hopped (not overdone) citrus. Some maple/brown sugar. Finish is just a tad too bitter but has a nice caramel end. JCB (1761), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Sure, the can’s a kick in the ass but this really is as tasty a brew as folks have said. A nice big APA, with more malts than I’d expect - the bready presence gives it a more creamy feel than you might expect for something so aggressively hopped. Very nice and tangy, with enough complexity to make this a regular. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 7, 2005 Can. Medium body, sweet and thick. Slight hop aroma. Big round and sticky hop taste, quite bitter on the tongue. Finish is long and hoppy, bitter. Not too much coming from the malts. Suprisingly not metallic at all. Good, hoppy pale ale.
