Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

12oz CAN! Clear and amber hued. Slight skin of white head. Oh, sweet, sweet Cascades! All citrus nose. Slight light malt roast. This is nice. Lively and full. Slick dry and bitter. Light malt flavor. Citrus bitter hop note. Then a bitter slap in the cloying finish. Very nice.

355 ml can, shared with my neighbour Kjetil. 1/3 of the can on table and floor before I reached the glass. Hazy amber color, off-white head. Aroma is ok hops. Flavor is hops and sweet malt, but most of all watery. Boring, a big disappointment. Must be something wrong with this can - maybe I will re-rate it one day.

This came in a can. Really- a micro came in a can. This beer proves that macro beer does not taste bad becuase of the aluminum, but rather becuase it tastes like shit. I can't get over actually tasting hops, flavor and goodness from a can.

Can. This brew has been a long time coming for me. I saw it at Steve’s liquors in Madison, WI and then asked my brother-in-law to pick it up before a camping trip. Better than I expected. I wasn’t used to getting so much flavor out of a can. Piney hop aroma. Hazy amber boddy with a yellowish, off-white head that is lasting. Excellent ring lace. Hoppy and somewhat creamy. Nice flavor. The malt is a little harsh in the finish. However, a very solid brew.

Can: Pours an orange copper color with a large white head and nice lacing. Nose is hoppy with citrus and florals, some sweetness. Taste is a simple blend of floral hops and malt with some citrus and grassey notes. Creamy and rich on the palate. I foresee taking sixers of this on the next camping trip...

Unclear amber of color with a beige head. An aroma of bisquit, malt, grapefruit and hops. A flavor of grapefruit, malt and hops.

Straight from the can. Looks reddish colored with a white head. Pretty hoppy, smooth to drink. Hints of malts in this as well. Not bad. A little too heavy to be a lawn mower beer (that was what i bought it for - resorted to High Life after a can of this). Interesting to say the least. Ill rerate once I pour it out into a glass. Good beer in a can is def. something new to me.

Very hoppy, very fresh, very agggressive. I really like it. The can doesseem to protect it quite well. DOes yield some fruity esters as it warms. Seems very utilitarian. Nice.
