Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Nice clear light copper pour with a thick white head. Moderate fresh pine hop aroma floats well over a nice malt base. Light palate. Smooth taste, with a decent citrusy hop finish. Extremely drinkable, and a pleasure to drink as well. Well done.

12 oz can. Beautiful clear amber with a monster off-white head. Aroma of biscuity malt and floral hops. Taste is GRAPEFRUIT plus a ton of hops, pine and toasty malts. Moderately sweet with a lingering bitter grapefruit rind finish. Very full, round and creamy with subtle carbonation. Lacing hangs on the glass in sheets. Good American Pale Ale.

One of my favorite Pales. Bordering a dark IPA almost. Nice dark amber brown and I just love the cans. Aroma is sweet and a little bread and nice crisp hops, pine and citrus. Taste is balanced, some biscuit malts and piney hops and some fruit and citrus. Always good.

Clear dark orange pour with a beautiful white head of creamy lace. Gorgeous beer out of a can. Imagine that!! Earthy aroma of hops and a nice woody dry flavor. Wonderfully delicious.

Oskar is really impressing me with this whole good beer in a can idea. Poured a clear amber with a frothy white head that quickly disappeared into nothing but a memory. Tons of hops in the aroma with a hint of malts as well. Flavor is fantastic but I agree with Yankovitch333 that it seems almost like an IPA rather than an APA. My only problem now is when going for a beer in a can do I grab this or an Old Chub, decisions decisions.

Bright clearish orange. Soft starchy topping of off-white lumpy foam adorns the crown with steady staying power and levels off leaving tall hills along the sides as it collars. Patchy, big blotchy lacing sticks all over the place. Nice looking ale! Dullish pale pine and old orange skins poof up the air quite well along with partially toastyness and grapefruit scraps. Big taster with tenderly paled and toasted malt making its way across the palate quickly, letting you know you’re drinking something with some guts to it. Slender pine sap and soft eager dryness floats about while touching and flinting notes of all kinds of wonderful hop notes of grapefruit pith, lemon and orange peel, and resiny pine oils. Broad and lasting with a remarkablely easy finish within its dryness and bitterness. Holds a very high standard to what a solid Pale Ale ought to be like. Solid, affectionate body of medium/fullish girth. Loads of malt toasting and pale-izing things up with a crunchy edge of bite and carbonation allowing the finish to sneak by with an ease of slightly parching hoppy bitterness and citric pithy, peel, oilyness. Toasted dryness returns and has a nice complexing tone in the finish mixing with the citrus notes; which lasts impressionably well. A solid Pale; and in a can even!? Nice...
