Thick and sticky residual lacing. Aroma has a prominant hop profile. Medium full nectar w/ soft and creamy residual effers. Another WOW, this is a can ? I would have never known. This pale is on the hoppy side and delivers a crispness even w/ the thick malts. Big citrus rind, leather, sea salt, and slight biscuits delivered by massive waves of dense malt. The finish is bittered extensively yet leaving my palate wet. This and Old Chub are perfect high quality canned brews that should be included in your "no glass allowed" activities. Overall; a very rich and delicious brew worthy of it’s rating. Highly recommended! Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 30, 2005 Hazy amber with a fluffy, creamy beige head. Subtle aroma of creamy, caramelly and grainy malt and mild lemon zest and grapefruit hop oils. The caramel, grain, breadiness and and light cookie elements tend to be a bit more dominate. The soft citrus, grass and light perfume aromas seem to balance and intrigue, as opposed to bullying their way to the forefront. The body is relatively moderate, a little light and easy drinking with molderate to active carbonation. The flavor has a nice balance of sweet malt and mild hop character. The hops don’t bring a lot of bitterness, but add more of a light ting that keeps the malt from becoming too dominate. The layered malt is fairly robust for the style, but isn’t extremely complex. All told, this seems to be a great drinking beer with loads of flavor and easy manuverability (see: cans). If I could get this locally, I might drink it pretty often. holdenn (1445), Chicago, Illinois, USA

This beer has a nice balance of carmel, citrus, and floral hop notes. Lightly bitter, some floral hops in the finish. A tasty sessionable beer. robinvboyer (1444), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

Nice white head, that seems to last a bit, good lacing on the glass........aroma is a wonderful balance of malt and hops. The flavour is awesome! Such a big bang of hops, hops and more hops. really nice, and the finish isnt that bitter at all. wow, if i could get this all the time, it would easily be my daily drinker! So smooth, and loaded with flavour, GREAT IPA. adrian910ss (1435), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 27, 2006 Tap @ the Horseshoe Pub. Good nose, sweet. Pine and citrus mix. Clean orange copper color, ok head with good lacing. Bittersweet flavor. Like aroma with a little yeasty/nutty thing. Has some caramel/toffee malt backbone, but the hops rule. Medium body, creamy/oily mouthfeel, bittersweet finish. That’s a real good pale ale, butter than some ipa’s I’ve had. fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Updated: Dec 18, 2008Can. Pours a crystal clear yellow-orange with white head. Smells of citrusy hops with some not complex but pleasant malt notes. Flavor follows with a similarly nice balance of grapefruit and floral notes from the hops with that tasty but hard to put my finger on what it might taste like malt. Mouthfeel is full, moderate carbonation, sharp at times with hops, mellow at times allowing for some nice big gulps. It takes a really solid pale ale to make me happy, and I really felt like I could just guzzle this stuff indefinitely, even if this rather lengthy commentary doesnt make any particularly shocking revelations about the brew. 7-4-8-4-16-3.9 Rerate 7-20-08. My first rating is silly but I leave it for funsies. Aroma of rich rec fruits, rich malt, and all-enveloping floral and cirtus hops. Flavor kicks into another gear of bitterness, but always being gentle on the tongue, always very citrusy and fruity, nearly roasted malts stick around, especially in the finish. Splendid beer, kicks the ass of other pales. 8-4-9-4-17-4.2 Rerate Thanksgiving 2008. Ridiculously astringent, covering up all else. Ridiculously astringent. Ridiculous. drowland (1430), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

The pour is amber brown. The aroma is sweet pale malt and the flavor is sweet malt with a nice hop flavor that isn’t overbearing. This really reminds me of homebrew for some reason.
