Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can, New Beer Distributors, NYC. (Great guys, impressive shop.) Copper pour, nice persistant cap of white foam. Heavy, musky hop aroma--honeysuckle, perfume. Sticky. Softly bitter, perfumey honey sweetness, enough lingeing bitterness to keep it from being cloying. Fairly full bodied. An unusual sort of IPA, loads of character interest.

Can thanks to radiomg. As the can says it’s a "Mutha of a Pale Ale", very true. Pours a dark amber/orange with nice off-white head and sticky lacing. A huge amount of bitter resinous hops, grapefruit, and citrus. Plenty of malt to back it up too, caramel, brown sugar, and bread. Very well balanced and goes way beyond many IPA.

12oz can: I love it, a good beer in a can. There are sometimes that you can’t have bottles and this is a great idea! The beer pours a slightly orangish color. There was a large frothy head with a decent amount of lacing. There is good hop aroma, with mainly grapefruit notes. Nice bitter taste, with a suprisingly light sweetness in the aftertaste. This is a really decent beer. Can you bring this to CT? Thanks for the beer, Jay!

Can at the Rover Göteborg: Light brown/red hazy colour, with a creamy head. Aroma of hops, citric, malty, and nice fruity ending. Flavor is almost the same, but is dominated of hops and malt, maybee a bit unbalnced, nice enyway.Medium body, and a medium dry-fruity finish.

Quite clear rosy amber with a small sticky white head. Nice looking ale. Floral citrus hop aroma with some butter. Very clean and well balanced in flavor with perfect bitterness. Excellent hop character, bright, complex and satisfying. My only complaint in the diacetyl notes which detract from an otherwise perfect beer.

gold, cottonwood head. bold hop aroma with a creamy edge. now that’s how I likes it! long lasting, rounded, flavorful bitterness rises quickly, plateaus, and maintains at length. anything more polarized would seems like an attempt at an ipa. base reminds me of a few cream ales i’ve had. very pure bitterness, nearly goes over the top and into astringent, but commands the tightrope and finishes memorable.

Can. Pours a clear orange gold with a thick billowy golden white head. Aroma is piled high with candied pineapple, citrus and pine hops, with a thick backbone of clean malt, and a touch of toast. Medium bodied and sticky sweet, and a bit malty. Finishes with a light bitterness. Delicious.

Can... Poured orange with a white head, beautiful lacing. Earthy aroma containing hops and rich Malts. Full, smoothly carbonated palate. Floral hop flavors with earthy vegetable notes and malt grains for a nice balance. Finished with hops and grains.
