Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can. Pours a clear orange gold with a thick billowy golden white head. Aroma is piled high with candied pineapple, citrus and pine hops, with a thick backbone of clean malt, and a touch of toast. Medium bodied and sticky sweet, and a bit malty. Finishes with a light bitterness. Delicious.

gold, cottonwood head. bold hop aroma with a creamy edge. now that’s how I likes it! long lasting, rounded, flavorful bitterness rises quickly, plateaus, and maintains at length. anything more polarized would seems like an attempt at an ipa. base reminds me of a few cream ales i’ve had. very pure bitterness, nearly goes over the top and into astringent, but commands the tightrope and finishes memorable.

Second canned beer from Oskar Blues and another winner, thanks to Holdenn for this one. 12oz can. Orange, large off-white head. Citrus, sweet, straight up IPA aroma. Pine and citrus characters dominate flavor. Med body with some creamyiness. A great example of an IPA.

Canned! Golden-amber colour with a white film on top. Pleasant aroma of cotton candy, sweet hops and a hint of raspberries? Great hop flavour but definitely not overpowering or grossly bitter. Very pleasant.

Hazy amber body, medium sized bubbles in off white head; Medium sized quite sweet hoppy slightly caramelled nose; Soft carbonation, soft texture, oth very nice, bitter but a little to sweet to be very fresh; Bitter sweet finish to full to be really fresh. Alright beer, not boring at all just a bit out of balance and a bit strangely composed.

Very nice looking cooper colored beer with a big off white head that is fully retained. Nice hoppy aroma with a light malt background. Flavor is probably the best I have ever had from a canned beer. I would find this beer acceptable anytime.

Pours an orangish yellow, with a white head, aroma of citrusy hops, flavor of citrusy hops with a malty backbone and a nice bitter finish. Pretty good beer in general, but superb for the style.
