I have had a few of these now, so it is about time to sit down and rate one.
It’s probably the best beer I have ever found in a can, closely rivaled only
by Old Chub. This is a definite ice breaker for people who might be wary of
craft beer - despite being a can, you can still pick up much of flavor and
nuances. For tasting purposes I used my snifter.
Aroma / Apppearance - The one finger clean white head lingered for a
while over the body which was a nutty brown. Only a slight amount of
carbonation was evident; otherwise things were pretty calm. The nose was a
nice combination of orange, citrus, spruce, lemons and pineapple. It is very
obvious that this is a hoppy beer just from the aroma.
Flavor / Palate - The hops are the first thing to be detected. They
come across as a mixture of spruce, wood chips, orange peels and caramel.
After they fade a trace amount of bitterness remains. The mouthfeel is full
and creamy. A resiny finish contributes to the experience, which is very
pleasing. When focusing I picked up honey and sharp aged cheddar cheese.
This is one I plan on picking up for summer picnics and barbeques where
everyone is drinking out of bottles and plastic caps. Even in the can
it does not lose much character. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA

At first sip it seems a little bit like an IPA, but after a few sips you realize this is just a top notch APA. Cloudy orange-brown color. Light floral and hoppy aroma. Sandy dry but sweet mouthfeel. Truly classic, quality beer. WISEGUY572 (1251), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Well balanced taste with peaches, toffee and a nice hoppiness. Maybe I am going overboard because I am pleasantly surprised by this but it is the best canned beer I have ever had.
