Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Crushed with Jakebra. Very nice, smooth pale. My 3rd Oskar Blues experience: all have been extremely positive. Smooth, fruity, dry, delicious pale ale.

Give it a 5 on apperance for having the balls to put it in a can. Anyway I had it and had to have another cause I couldn’t believe it, a good beer in a can...ok enough about the can. Very hoppy aroma with a nice mouthfeel, very upfront hop flavor which I like. Good finish and easier to throw away and not have to worry about breaking. OK, the beer was good

Pours out a deep golden yellow color with a nice creamy head. Aroma is rather floral with nice citurs and hop notes to it. Flavor is somewhat hoppy, but not quite what i had hoped for. over all this is a nice brew and im still blown away at the fact that they can their beers instead of bottle them.

12 oz cAn via Mys Swap 4 (thanks alexsdad!).Pours a hazy orange with a huge beige head. Nose is grapefruit/orange and is making me sneeze! Wow, this is one hoppy pale ale. Tastes like an IPA with LOTs of flavoring hops to me. I am sure i taste some yummy centennial and perhaps columbus hops. Crystal malts, a little honey, orange, grapefruit, pine and some wondrous spicy hoppy goodness. Body is medium, carbonation is spot on. Perhaps one of the best pale ales i have ever tasted...and reading the description, i see i got 2 of the 4 hops right....guess i really do love centennial and columbus lol..

12 oz can, says on the side "Pack it in, Pack it out"! The beer is a deep orangy/dark honey colour with a smallish off white head, leaves pretty nice laceing. The aroma has a very substancial hoppyness..especially the "citric" tangs..almost as strong as some IPAs. Again the taste is mainlly of the hops but after a few sips a good smooth , semi sweet maltiness shows, and after about half the glass its a well balanced beer. Very nice on the palte, exceptionally smooth and quite "thick" for the style. What can i say? Very drinkable and would make an excellent camping beer as the label suggests

you do this in a can, you did something! a real piney, hoppy winner. all explaning aside this beer has got to be a true giant in the cask or on the tap. nice malts that seem to come from that region. nice mid palate style makes it great anytime of the year. the more great ipa’s you try - the more you will find this an upper middle class ipa. the malt and hop profiles conspire to create a wet broom taste - as you drink more of these you start to really notice.

Thanks to Cpt. Cougar for this. 12oz CAN. 51°. NB worthy glass. Reddish/copper color with a 1/4" off white head. Steady carbonation with little tiny bubbles. When the head recedes, it coats the glass. Aroma is somewhat sweet with spicy, piney, and a touch of citrus hoppiness. Nice malt base and some good hops flavor. The hops have a mostly piney flavor. There is a bit of an agressiveness to the flavor, it might be smokiness, it might be alchohol, or just intense bittering. The finish is a hops bitterness that fades away after 15-20 seconds, leaving a hint of the piney hops. Mouthfeel is good. This is a good APA. I personally like the option of buying a quality beer in a can and I would purchase this for canoeing if it was sold around here. There is one slighty strange flavor that bothers me a bit and knocks the flavor from a 7 to a 6.

Orange/amber color with a large tiny bubbled white head. Aroma bigs hops with lots of citrus and some herbs. Flavor is peppery and spicy but nicely balanced with caramel sweetness. Long sweet finish with lots of residual bitterness.
