Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Appearance: Color of dark amber with honey , large dense pillow like head. Fine lace created.
Nose : Haahh… plenty of hops but not those cheap rough wet leafy one. This one is gentle giant. Aromatic high alpha with strong hints of fresh mango. Sweet hops created superb refreshing qualities.9-
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied. Woody bitterness shortly visits up front, west side hops dominate the centre. Bolder chewy green side stays behind (thankfully was quiet). Prime example how bold can be approachable, smooth it make it sweeter yet sill with tons of hops. Beer can and superb hoppy ale, brewers Campbell soup of Andy’s Warhol?

Can. Amber body with a moderate creamy white head and decent lacing on the glass (3+). Moderately resiny hops in both the aroma (6+) and the flavour. Light citrus comes out a bit more in the flavour. Average palate. Solid pale ale.

12oz can. Medium amber color. Large sized white foamy head, strong lacing. Aroma is earthy, sweet and piney. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are caramel, sweet, with touches of earthiness. Hops are piney and grapefruity. The malt sweetness is balanced by the big piney hops. Nice crisp dry finish. Decent beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foam with a frothy top fine to large sized off-white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The strong aroma was hoppy and doughy. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a mild caramel hop aftertaste and a hop bite. The flavor contained notes of piney hops mild caramel and dough. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Bottle. [Courtesy of Storm, another great session @ Papsoe] Average creamy like beige head that mostly diminished. Cloudy golden color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of elderflower, grapefruit, apricot, very citrusy, caramel, and some underlying fruity notes as well. Medium bodied with a dry texture and an average carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. 31-08-2007

On tap at the brewpub, 4/13/06: Bright orange with an excellent sticky head. Nice little hoppy aroma. Yummy citric hoppiness wit a solidly sweet malt backdrop.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet malty flavors, with a light pine hop character. A bit earthy but not to bitter.
