Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Slightly malty hop aroma. Hop flavor and malt balance start out slow and then hit you. Balanced very well throughout. A good session brew.

My first craft beer in a can. Poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass. The color is a slightly hazy orange with about a finger of white head and some nice lacing. The smell is hoppy with a nice citrus flavor and a surprising pineapple smell. Also has a bit of a bready, malt flavor. The taste is bitter, the hops come out to give out a nice hop kick to the taste buds. The fruity flavors are right behind with pineapple being the first and some apple as well. The feel of this beer light to medium with some carbonation that is pretty light. It also goes down pretty easy and is smooth even if it is pretty hoppy.

Oskar Blues Dale’s Pale Ale is a cloudy, light amber ale with a soft, fluffy, yellow-white head that has excellent retention and lacing. It has a huge, hoppy aroma that’s floral and grassy; a little sweet with a note of lemon or lemongrass. It has a smooth medium body with a crisp finish. he hops leave the tongue a little scratchy. here’s prenty of bitter, fruity, grassy hop flavor. There’s a peppery alcohol flavor at the finish. It’s on the powerful end of the session ale spectrum. If I would’ve tasted this ten years ago, I would’ve called it an IPA.

Tasted this because of high ratings. Big aroma consisting of citrus and herbs, pours clear and copper into a pilsner glass. Very bitter first taste, sour as well. Taste remains the same. Nice texture, very lively carbonation. Bitter finish. Not my kind of beer, but I can see why others could appreciate it.

Amber coloured with a rocky off-white head. Aroma is caramell and citrus, light perfumey and sweet hops. Flavour is huge on the caramell aspect with some nice countering citric and bitter hops, lightly piney and flowery with the malt being the dominant factor though. Rather full bodied and sticky for the style, solid.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a canned beer (except for a 4 pack of Southern Star’s - Pine Belt Pale) but purchased because of the high RB rating. Pours a copper color with off-white head and good lacing. Good floral aorma with hints of citrus fruits. Like the hops with a pleasant aftertaste. This beer is good and it probably one of the few I’d but in a can for hanging out at the pool or taking to events.

nice floral hoppy aroma. smells like an IPA. Cloudy light orange to amber color with a nice two finger white head. Medium mouthfeel with plenty of carbonation. Very bitter aftertaste. This is a great pale ale and is highly recommended.

On draught, clear and golden color with maximum lacing. Citrusy hop aroma with Cascade up front. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Bitter hops in flavor with a slightly dry finish. Overall a fine Pale Ale.

A: Nice copper red color with a big lasting head. The tiniest of bubbles continually flow to the top sustaining the head. LOTS of lacing is left behind as you drink this one. It really is a pretty brew if you take the time to pour it into a glass. S: It has a nice earthy hop aroma, not at all citrus. I note grass and sweet pine sap. T: Good tasting pale ale that almost leans to the IPA side if you ask me. There is a nice balance between mild malt and piney hops. Has just enough kick and finishes both bitter and sweet. Pretty complex for something that comes in a can. M: Light and smooth.
