It’s an American beer from a can, and it doesn’t suck. My world no longer makes sense. Pours out a deep copper, absolutely stunning head, very thick and creamy, stays around for a simply amazing amount of time. Nose quite hoppy, some pine resin there and citrius. Flavor rather good, initial hoppy bit followed by some sweet malts, though not as sweet as it could be. Certainly can’t fault it for mouthfeel, extremely full and creamy. Looks and feels beautiful, smells good, tastes good. Quite nice. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

I saw it at Steve’s liquors in Madison, WI and then asked my brother-in-law to pick it up before a camping trip. Better than I expected. I wasn’t used to getting so much flavor out of a can. Piney hop aroma. Hazy amber boddy with a yellowish, off-white head that is lasting. Excellent ring lace. Hoppy and somewhat creamy. Nice flavor. The malt is a little harsh in the finish. However, a very solid brew. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

The apperance is a dark orange with a moderate head. The flavor is quite bitter with some peaches, grapefruit, and lemons present. A slight pine presence is also detected. Awesome pale ale! Dont let the can fool you! Cobra (1061), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA

Flavors are sweet malts, "C" hops, slight esters. Thick mouthfeel and body.
Finishes hoppy & thick on the tongue.
Damn tasty canned beer. I’m impressed. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Bright clearish orange. Soft starchy topping of off-white lumpy foam adorns the crown with steady staying power and levels off leaving tall hills along the sides as it collars. Patchy, big blotchy lacing sticks all over the place. Nice looking ale!
Dullish pale pine and old orange skins poof up the air quite well along with partially toastyness and grapefruit scraps.
Big taster with tenderly paled and toasted malt making its way across the palate quickly, letting you know you’re drinking something with some guts to it. Slender pine sap and soft eager dryness floats about while touching and flinting notes of all kinds of wonderful hop notes of grapefruit pith, lemon and orange peel, and resiny pine oils. Broad and lasting with a remarkablely easy finish within its dryness and bitterness. Holds a very high standard to what a solid Pale Ale ought to be like.
Solid, affectionate body of medium/fullish girth. Loads of malt toasting and pale-izing things up with a crunchy edge of bite and carbonation allowing the finish to sneak by with an ease of slightly parching hoppy bitterness and citric pithy, peel, oilyness. Toasted dryness returns and has a nice complexing tone in the finish mixing with the citrus notes; which lasts impressionably well.
A solid Pale; and in a can even!? Nice... LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Can. Pours a somewhat dark burnt orange with a fairly dense off-white head. Aroma is a well rounded mix of citrus, bread, toffee and perhaprs a light dose of grapefruit. Caramel flavor hits first, with plenty of citrus and bitter hop flavor, some toast on the back of the throat, and a finish that mixes the bread and citrus rind hop flavor as well as any pale ale could. So smooth and drinkable but there’s loads of flavor to this beer as well. Thanks jrob!
