Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Pours a med. clear amber with an attractive sherbert like head. Arom of caramel and biscuit malts along with a nice wallop of piney, citrusy hops. The body med and slightly sweet, maybe a bit too big for the style. The flavors are huge malts, gobs luscious american hops and just perfectly in balance. The finish is nicely bitter without being too IPA like. This is just a great Pale ale.

Huge nose of hops, orange blossoms, candy, and more hops. Awesome. Slightly thin palette. Plenty of hops, some grains, grapefruit. finishes much the same. Would be an amazing session if it lightened up on the hops just a little. Still excellent.

Clear dark orange pour with a beautiful white head of creamy lace. Gorgeous beer out of a can. Imagine that!! Earthy aroma of hops and a nice woody dry flavor. Wonderfully delicious.

clear golden amber, frothy head. Beautiful aroma full of fruity, juicy hops and intriguing sweetness..caramelly malt with spicy-like hops..clean, super balanced and super flavorful with an underlying sweetness. Quite hoppy...grassy with caramelly and slightly fruity malt flavors...Quite a treat, freakin’ a man, if they had these cans available round these parts, I would surely make this my exclusive beach beer...In fact, i think its time to talk to some distributors.

Fruity, hoppy, and beer cheese - apricot and peach. Orange-gold color, slightly cloudy. Low off-white head. Low medium carb and heavy watery body. Nice and hoppy! Not too bitter - nice balance with malts. Subtle bitter finish and slight nutty after. Crisp and refreshing. Well-balanced pale ale.

This was big surprise. I normally shy away from beer in cans. Dale’s Pale Ale is an exception. A very balanced Pale Ale that acts like an IPA. The head was frothy and filled the glass. The balanced hops and malt was a very positive experience. The body was mediun with the bitterness of the hops coming through. This is my first I hope to have more. Carbonation was average with a creamy texture.

I finally got around to trying this, and now I’m sorry I didn’t sooner - huge, bright, fruity nose loaded with hops - nice and crisp, but still a full mouthfeel - biting hops up front, followed by loads of dried herbs and a strong, buttery character - I’m very glad I found this beer in time for summer - I plan on shoving it in peoples gullets at every BBQ I attend.
