Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Holy Cow! A great beer from a can! A nice golden brown coor, with a decent head. Has a very hoppy aroma and taste, the taste that comes from using Cascade hops. Also has a malty taste. Definitely will be getting this one again.

wow. Just goes to show you, you can’t judge a brew by it’s container. This is like that lil whitekwhatever from belgium that comes in that ol petite can. This is hugely hoppy, but has immense flavour to it. More so than any of the sierra’s or others I’ve had. Lot’s on the swish. Ripe grapefruits, malts, creme, berries, and a touch of barely and mint. Very entertaining.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a nicely-sized off white head. Aromas are minimal, but have a nice mix of malt and citrus hops. Flavor is a nicely balanced combination of the same with a bit of a pine bite to the finish. Comes across as a fairly heavily hopped APA, maybe IPA would be a better category, but who am I to say. I could drink a lot of these.

Nice! Very well done. I was given the whole shpeal about how it is from Colorado so they wanted to put it in an easy to ship container, something that would cool easily in a mountain streem, and something that would pack well. I don’t know about all that, but it is probably the nicest pale ale I have ever drank from a can. Nicely hopped, good colour and very nice hoppy aroma. Well suited for someone who enjoys their hops. Sweet, bitter, excellent.

Can. Medium amber pour with a fantastically large, rocky white head. Nose was quite wonderful, with citrus, pine resin, and grapefruit... along with a well-balanced array of sweet caramel and other malts. Flavor followed suit, with ample doses of bitter pine and citrus backed by smooth caramel malt. Palate was a tad lighter-bodied than I was looking for, but solid overall. Smooth malty middle and a refreshing & bitter citrus finish. Very good brew for any occasion.

Bamm in a CAN!!! Aroma of sweet caramel malt and lots of hops combine nicely to tickle your nose. Poured a nice amber with an off white head. Flavor was just spectacular, lots of hops make this piney brew swirl with the caramel malts to dance on your taste buds. Palate was evenly matched with the flavors and finish was just long enough to last until the next sip. Overall this was just damn good. I’m glad I finally bought this.

A light, clear, orangey pour, nice off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit and hop spice, a nice carmelley maltiness, and slightly bready. On the tongue, a mellow refreshing palate containing nice blend of sweet slightly carmelly malt and a grapefruity-citrus hop, developing into a lingering dry bitterness in the back of the mouth. Nice stuff, and surprisingly good, as well; I’m not used to REAL beer from a can! Try it, you’ll like it. I’ll have to make Dale’s a regular.
