Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Great pour with a nice head and a nice copper color that absorbs the light. The aroma is hoppy with a bit of an orange smell. Nice sweet and hoppy taste with a clean finish. An excellent pale ale!

12oz can from S.B. Liquor San Diego. Wow! One of the best pale’s I’ve had in some time. Great aroma of pine and citrus with some malt in the back drop. Great balance through out the finish, highly recommended!

Can and tap. As far as the so-called American Pale goes...heh, to me, THIS is a Pale! Not thinned out and watery like most, Dale’s brings a huge malt presence up front and then just pushes a slightly unbalanced (in a good way of course) flushes of bitter hops all over the palate. Perfect for camping as it’s not too heavy in ABV, and its compactable! This is one of my summer favorites!

This is good stuff. big cracker malt backbone with some sharp hop notes and a moderate floral component. Light caramel and a full mouthfeel. Fantastic drink.

Pours clear caramel with a thick creamy head. Citrus/floral aroma. Taste is heavy on hops (yay), and has a caramel-esque smooth finish. This can of beer is truly a surprise and is one of the best American Pale Ales for your money. I paid $3 in house for a can at D’s Six Packs in PGH, PA, and can get a case for around $25 in PGH (an excellent deal for good beer here).

My beer of choice while attending a NASCAR event. No glass allowed, then bring a can. Big fluffy tan head when the tab is pulled back. Wonderful pine aroma. Smooth citrus flavor. A great APA that is much better than most IPAs.

Beautifull cloudy orangish amber brew with major huge foamy white head. Huge aroma of citrus and bitter sweet grapefruit. Heavy brew, bready, grain kind of bitter hoppy flavor. Pretty satisfying.

Can - I’ve had this one on several occasions, but never in a place that was rating friendly. Amber color with a med-large head. Sweet aroma of caramel malts with an appetizing floral hop essence. Taste is smooth and sweet. Well balanced, finishes nice. Why can’t all APAs be this good and be widely available in cans?
