This beer is like an epic battle between malts and hops. Just when you think one is going to over-power the other, the tide of battle turns and you’re left at a flavor impasse. I must say the can is a sexy twist as well. There’s a slight metallic taste (but that can be alleviated by pouring the beer into a glass I suppose). I wonder if it’s cheaper to can beer than it is to bottle it. PullMeABeer (203), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Pours mostly clear golden/amber, with a nice fluffy peaked head that fell to a thin, but very adequate layer of lace that covered the glass as it was consumed. Oh that’s nice, very aromatic, mmmm, piney woody spiced hops, I could smell this beer for hours. Flavors are piney, sappy, sticky, savory, creamy, nice malt backdrop, finish starts with the flavor of freshly roasted peanuts and end with a lingering, satisfying, and very addictive hop bite. Body is thick and creamy, so nice! Drinkablity very high/ high. Outstanding beer, do it, to it to this beer. Find it and drink it. "This can (and) is a mighty fine beer." 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA

The head is medium to long lived and whitish in color. Great lacing. Big aroma of pine and fruit with just the right amount of caramel malt trown in for balance. Medium bodied. A little alcohol is felt. Malty sweet caramel with the same piney and floral hops in flavor. Pleasant lingering hop bitterness. This is more of an IPA, and a good one at that, than an APA. Great beer in a can!! tjthresh (1778), Greenfield, Indiana, USA

Pretty good hoppy sweet aroma. Clean orangey amber with a khaki head. Well balanced with a plesant bitterness. Short finish. Medium to full body with the perfect level of carbonation. I love the can. I wish this would make it over to MOKAN. Welcome in my glass anytime. green (187), Boston, Massachusetts, USA

You expect, “A pale ale in a can, novel, have to try it, heard the new cans don’t create off flavor. Expecting a serviceable pale ale.” But this pale ale is great. It closer to great homebrew than any bottled beer I have tried. Great head and lacing. Smooth, substantial mouthfeel. Nice balance hop, alcohol and sweetness. Ten thousand kudos, impressive. Aroma is invitingly hoppy - one good whiff and you know this is no wussy brew. Flavor is strongly hoppy, and mouthfeel is zingy and tingly. I like hoppy beers, so I found this one to be very enjoyable. framebender (56), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Strong in your face hop flavor that is still tame enough to allow you to enjoy the taste and not just flinch. Not very malty and relaxed but definately present after taste. And I don’t care what anybody says, I like cans better than bottles. They are lighter, more durable, easier to carry, and protect the hops from sunlight better than glass.
