Huge off-white head that holds, then leaves substantial lacing as its tasted. Big nose for a pale ale. Mostly citrus hops, but veg and light malt as well. Light-medium body, slight creaminess, and mild carbonation. Bitter grapefruit flavor, with enough malt to provide a some balance. Plenty of bitterness on the finish as well. Great pale. georgekillian (205), USA

Aroma- spicy earthy blend of hops, blends with caramel malty notes. can vessel compromises the power of aroma, perhaps.
Appearance- clean copper color, hints of orange. nice presentation when poured into a glass. lingering fluffy white head.
Taste- heavy bitterness up front, but maltiness provides balance late.
T - Heavy bitterness for a pale, with strong notes of pine and grapefruit. balance from caramel malts does come through somewhat.Finishes slightly dry and with a nice lingering bitterness.
Palate- very nice carbonation makes it very drinkable.
Overall a very enjoyable pale ale.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Shared 12 oz. can. Poured a coppery gold tone, with lasting, off white foam to the head, and a multitude of clingy spots and streaks to the lacing. The aroma was light hints of resin and citrus, but mainly a light floral and mid-toned fruit presence. The flavor added smooth malt, a decent, medium hop bitterness, and a pleasantly dry finish. Enjoyable Pale, and especially like the "craft to go" cans. scooterbub (380), Lander, Wyoming, USA
