RnH: tap: Pour was slightly hazy brown with a red hue leaving a thin layer of tan head.... decent lacing though. The nose had strong citrus notesm very bright. Also some sugary malty tones. The taste carried alot of that citrus/ young fruits but also some darker, maybe even roasted sugars. Alcohol was present but not overpowering, good balance bordering on mushed together. A bit creamy in taste yet dry and crisp in feel. Nice brew.

Pours rich amber/golden with a thick, creamy head into my friend’s plastic cup, but I’m drinking this one straight from the can on Miami’s South Beach: Nose of sugar coated pine dipped into a batch of high octane, liquified hops. Creamy smooth mouthfeel, with a crisp bite of that American Cascade. Drinkability: Earthy flavors really deliver (yet aren’t overstated) in what could be one of the strongest DIPAs I’ve had to date. Discount Liquors Milwaukee, WI. 4-pk $9.99 11/09. Caramel aroma, and notes of plum. Dry-hopped with Amarillo. Nice amber color with minimal head. Medium sweetness at first leading to a light sourness and a well balanced bitter finish. Nice medium body, flat carbonation, leaves a very nice taste in my mouth. I would buy again, very nice beer.

Pours a light brown, some sticky lacing, gives off a sweet nose almost barley wine like, first sip is bitter sweet like a strong ale. but finishes like a double IPA. Some thing about this beer makes me want to get drunk (which I never do, any more) Any way, nice beer.

THOUGHTS: I was amazed that this come from a can. Great balance. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a cloudy, light, orangey brown with a small, off-white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. The aroma was moderate caramel malt; moderate to heavy piney, resinous and grapefruity hops; a little more orangey hops; light to moderate yeast with a slight funk to it; brown sugar and alcohol. The initial flavor was rather sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was sweet and rather bitter with an average to long duration. There was caramel, brown sugar, citrus hops, pine hops, alcohol, orangey hops and a little resinous hops. Everything blended together. The medium to full body was somewhat oily and then a little dry with fizzy carbonation and a lightly alcoholic and slightly metallic finish.

Can. Clear dark red color. Creamy head. Hoppy aroma. Citrus/orange. The taste is of orange cest with bitter caramel in the aftertaste. A bit thin (or old?) for being a DIPA.

This is lovely when served fresh. Rather dark caramell colour with a chunky off-white head that leaves great lazings. Aroma is a nicely balanced blend beteween juicy, piney hops and a solid biscuit like caramell sweetness. Flavour is the same but with additional bitterness acompanied by a sticky, chewy mouthfeel. Nice.

this is so good- like a thick dark blood orange smell and flavor, very malty and very hoppy. great balance between bitterness and thick malty body. slides down the throat dangerously easy. On tap at Abraxas Lounge, Miami Beach.
