Can courtesy of Taverner, pours a nice dark amber brown with a thin tan head. The nose is malty, hoppy and a bit of yeast. The flavor is similar, with some fung and earthiness in there as well. Gritty, earthy finish.

Looks great with lovely ruby/brown body and fantastic head. Peppery layered and subtley spicy in aroma. There are deep malts in there to smell but for some reason they never seemed to completely open up even after considerable time to warm. That said three still was plenty to smell. Nice body with a decent bittering of hops towards the back along with other more distant balancing forces. Not a bad brew by any means.

Can. Red-tinged dark amber. Light foamy head. Good lacing. Nice hop nose. Red IPA? Moderate hops with a bit of a sour malt finish.

Canned. This is great beer! Pours a dark amber, darker than most ipa/dipa. Small head that faded quick. Aroma of citrus fruits and flowers. It tastes more like a DIPA to me than a "strong ale". I’m very excited that this brewery now has some distribution in my area....I want to try their other stuff now! Very good beer.

Can. Copper pour with a thick off white head. Very nice floral aroma, characteristic of a highly dry hopped IPA. Great flavor, a nice balance between sweet malt and dry hops... citrusy and spicy. A very well put together beer.

The beer pours an amber red brown with a thick fluffy head that settles into a long lasting thin film that leaves long lacing the nose is a bitter hop with notes of caramel and rich malts. The taste is some what shocking, the can tells me that it is a very sticky beer but I found it more round with a dry hoppyness, not as big as big ipa’s but a nice rich balance of sweet malts and bitter hops. It has a medium long fish that last but does not linger.

12 oz. can. Haven’t had this beer in a while but it’s darn good. Nice balance of malt and bitterness. Good hop flavor as well though....hop flavor lacks in some imperials so this beer is great.

(USA) Beer courtesy of AFI96 thanks waylo Nice burgundy color with a sm-foamy head. Aroma is of caramel, spices, and malts. Very smooth taste, nice carbonation, and some hoppy notes So far Oskar Blues is very impressive, and they have the best beer in a can.
