top notch. sticky and reminiscent of caramel. the hops are nice and crisp and balance out with the malt nicely. highly recommended

Citric hops and sweet caramel malts dominate the palate. It pours a cloudy dark amber with marked hop lace and fine, light carbonation. Sweet caramel malt and plenty of high-alpha hops dominate the flavor, with some crystal malt in the mix. Alcohol and dry hops in the throat provide an astringent finish. Stone Double Bastard remains my favorite example, followed by Dogfish 90 Minute, but Oskar Blues Gordon is quite respectable.

The aroma is both malty and hoppy with hints of caramel, flowers, pine and brown sugar. It pours a frothy average head that is off-white in color and mostly lasting. The beer is murky amber in color and moderatly dense. The initial flavor is moderately sweet and lightly acidic. The finish is slightly bitter and moderately alcoholic.

(Canned) Hazy dark amber with a smallish, tight head. Aromatic-hoppy, fruity nose with a clear alcohol presence. Toffee-booze-malty flavor with dried fruit, pine-resiny hops, and a bitter, dry finish. Medium-bodied, dryish palate with soft carbonation. Alcohol is too evident when cool, but becomes smoother with warming up. Still a bit thin and rough for the style, and no match for Nogne #100 and the like.

Clear tawny red with a thick frothy head. Big resinous citrus and herbal hop aroma. Clean hoppy flavor supported by juicy malt with a toasted note. Has a lingering pine flavor. Low carbonation. Relatively low bitterness. Doesn’t come together for me somehow.

Can, Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Poured a deep clear amber with biege head, decient retention, laced the glass. Aroma of fresh hops, as if the hops are right under your nose, very nice....Flavor is sweet malt, very hoppy flavor, and a medium bitter at the end to compliment. Medium-full body, medium carb.....Very tasty!

Pours a clear amber red color with a small off-white head that leaves a little lacing. The powerful hop aroma is full of fruit character. Tons of grapefruit and even a little bit of orange. There are some peach and butterscotch undertones as well. This has all the hop flavor without too much of the hop bitterness. A lot of sweet citrus and a hint of pine. The caramel malt is there in the background. Pretty light mouthfeel for the high ABV. A really solid beer.
