Commercial Description:
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is lacking...not much there. Mild, slightly sweet, bready flavor with a slightly bitter aftertaste, and a tiny hint of alcohol. Nice and refreshing.

Can from the grocery store. Never had this, figured I would give it a shot. Pours out looking like Budweiser, but really, why did I pour this out? It is a pilsner, from a can, it should be consumed that way. Smell is full of corn and actually some hops here too. Taste is kind of watery, but lively carbonation, and a real easy beer to drink when it is hot outside. For what it is, this beer is good. This is a good alternative to Heineken and its priced the same. Better from the can than from a glass.

For a pilsner, this was a really good beer. It’s just not my favorite style. Pours a crystal clear yellow with a large, fine white head. It has a dusty, lemony hop aroma with a hint of sweetness. The flavor is a yummy lemony orange with the great pilsner malts showing through. Crisp, clean and pretty dry, but again, a hint of sweetness to balance it out nicely. A bit seltzery, but very tasty.

Can. This beer is very light. Not too much flavor or aroma wise still better than the normal mass produced pilsners.

Can; purchased at Liquor Mart in Boulder. Pours a nearly-clear dark gold with a frothy white head that slowly recedes leaving behind patchy lace. The nose is pretty muted: lightly sweet biscuity malt with just a hint of earthy/grassy hops. Light-bodied with soft effervescence and a crisp, drying, mildly bitter finish. The flavor is a round/solid pils malt body with a surprisingly bitter grassy counterbalance that isn’t nearly as prevalent on the nose. (Curiously, they get a flavor from the Saaz that I haven’t ever tasted in another pilsener before. It’s still "grassy" but it’s like a different species of grass...it’s difficult to describe.) This beer grew on me as I got deeper into the glass, but it certainly didn’t "wow" me.

Canned. Poured slightly hazy paler golden with a sticky, well-retained cap of white head. The aroma picked up ground lemon rind, floral, and black peppery notes over a soft pale malt and bready base.. juicy and well-presented. The flavor opened with tangy lemony notes, rolling into a thicker honey and pale malt base.. peppery spices were laced throughout.. finished with some sticky malts plus refreshing lemon and spice. Light-medium bodied, but it got caught up at a few points on the palate.. flow was just OK.. overall a tasty brew that I’d drink again.

12 oz can. Pours a pale gold with a small, foamy, white head. Mild malt aroma with crisp hop notes. A little grass and mineral in the nose as well. Medium-high carbonation with a light mouthfeel. Pleasing hop bitterness tries to offset all of the malt sweetness, but doesn’t quite get the job done. Light notes of grass and a touch of lemon on the palate too. Short finish. An okay pils.

Clear golden yellow with a medium quickly fading white topper. Aroma of grassy hops, sweet malt, mild floral hops and a touch of pepper. Taste is grassy as well with some sweet malt mixed in. Pretty easy to drink with a hoppy finish.
