Soft fruit and corny pepper aromas ride undercurrents of club crackers and caramel. Floral peppered hop flavors round with a touch of sweet yeast in the end. Light bodied, soft carbonation, light bittersweet finish. Had potential, but needs that crisp refreshing finish. Decent summer guzzler none the less... BREWMUSKCLES (1086), New Jersey, USA

Say it for the thousandth time--funny name, eye-catching label, and great to find another refreshing, tasty summer session beer in a can. Yay OB! Pours a crystal clear dark gold with a thin, fizzy white film on top. Decent little strings of lace. Nice crisp flowery/grassy nose. Just smells easy and refreshig, like a pils ought to. Sweetish without being anywhere near cloying. Crisp light body, almost watery, with plenty of nuts, biscuit, flowers, and grass on the mid-palate. Faintest of piney/resinous bitterness right at the end, for a little Americana comin atcha. Not bad at all. MeisterBrew (138), Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA

Pours a near clear yellow with very wispy white head. Nose is a little grainy and grassy and follows in flavor. Semi-bitter twinge in the finish. Decent for style. And in a can! | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2009 12oz can. Pours a clear and bubbly pale, golden yellow body with a finger-width, foamy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate amount of soapy lacing. Aroma of grainy, pale, pils malts and a light grass. Grainy, malty flavor with a good amount of soft, grassy hops. Finishes dry with a light grassy linger and a touch of sweet caramel. Very well balanced and easy drinking with a medium body and a crisp, carbonated feel on the backend. Overall, not the best beer offered by Oskar Blues, but a solid pils. Well made and enjoyable.
