Commercial Description:
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Can. Poured a clear gold color with a white head. Pretty standard, but good pilsner aromas that included the likes of hay, grass, and a bit of grape. Light bodied and dryish with grass, cereal grain, and subdued honey flavors.

Heavy pilsener malt character. Lemongrass notes with a quasi-medicinal floral component. Extremely drinkable.

Poured out of the can, courtesy of Alex at K & L Wines. Pretty standard Pils, light yellow with off white head, smooth and dry, floral nose, not much flavor of the hops that I could detect.

Can courtesy of BigErn. Pours yellow with a white head. Smells of light fruit, dry pilsner malt. Tastes of dry maly, light and fruity with a peppery splash on the finish.

Pours out a clear yellow-straw color with a moderate fluffy white head. Aroma of grassy and floral hops, mostly grassy, and a slight sweet malt nose. Taste is smooth, grassy hops, floral hops, sweet malts with a somewhat buttery taste. Not bad, but this is just one of those styles....

12 oz. can from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Pours a clear yellow color with little head. Aroma is typical pilsner with malt and hops. Flavor is a touch of hops with thin and light floral notes. A good canned beer but nothing too special.

Growler - pours a clear light gold, with a soapy, short-lived head - nose of lemon, honey, grass, herbal/floral hops - this is light and drinkable, which a good pils should be, but it lacks the balance and complexity of the great examples of the style - this is mostly honey-sweet, with light hints of grain, and a bit of grassy hops, but not enough to balance the sweetness, nor to add the crisp bite you’d want from the style - in fact, the finish is lingering honey sweetness and buttery/diacetyl flavors - kind of a train wreck of a pils - stick to the big beers, boys.
