| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 15, 2009 Updated: Jun 17, 2009Im drinking it out of the can like nature intended, but if I must...i will go now and waste some by pouring it into a glass just so i can rate the appearance, bullshit if you ask me. OK, im back to report that its a yellow beer...and with a big fluffy head. Thanks. Nose was a rustic lager scent with notes of straw and sweet grain cereal. Flavors were as nice as I have ever had in a lager...I mean, this almost tastes fucking awesome. Clean, grainy, somewhat sweet, a little cereal, and with a spicy saaz characteristic in the finish..no adjuncty jet fuel bullshit here...just a nice session beer. at $10 a six pack, if every dickhead drank this instead of budweiser, I’d have more business. RE-rate after 20 or six packs- NOT SURE IF THEY PUT COCAINE IN THIS OR WHAT, BUT I AM ADDICTED, I DRINK TWO OF THESE FOR EVERY OTHER BEER I DRINK. ksurkin (397), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 14, 2009 12 oz can. Clear yellow with a big white head that disappears quickly. Malty nose, light grain and herbal hop. Mild bitter floral bite, somewhat herbal and grainy. Not bad. Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 13, 2009 Appearance is pretty much to be expected, clear yellow, bright white soapy head, and visibly effervescent. The nose is dirty for a pils, with some non-funky hay, corn husks, sugar and some cereal grain. The flavour is just about the same with a little added spiciness. The hops are not well represented in this one, as I usally love Saaz. These hops taste grassy, with no suggestions of apple and pear that make me love the Saaz so much. Its not as good as the original Czech Pilsner, but its way more tolerable than the American pale lagers that the rest seems to love for some reason that is beyond me. Whatever. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 13, 2009 Bottle. Golden beer with a nice white head. Mineral and malt aroma with light spice. Malt and mineral flavor with breadiness and grass. Medium-light bodied. Grass, bread, and mineral tones linger. Taverner (861), San Ramon, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2009 12oz can from Whole Foods. Pours clear golden with thin white head. Flavor is a nice, crisp bready flavor with some hop bitterness. Some diactyl in the flavor - not enough to ruin it, but enough to make its presence known.
