Tasted OK as far as pilseners go but I am not that big a fan of the style and found that I wasn’t all that into this particular one either. scoth (291), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 Pours clear golden, with a huge, puffy, three-finger, cream-colored head, with good, lasting lacing. Aroma of apple, caramel, and some light hay and grass notes. Light, crisp body, well carbonated. Tastes of bread and apple, with floral and earthy hops. A very pleasant aftertaste. I love those Saaz hops. Well balanced and drinkable. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 Officially my summertime pool/beach beer of 2009. I usually knock these back straight from the can while sitting on a pool float, but I managed to pour one into a proper glass for the rating. The body is mostly clear with a very faint haze, medium gold in color. A nice head of barely off-white foam recedes slowly, forming lily pad like clumps at the surface. Foamy lace marks the glass well. The nose is nice for a pils, that signature bready yeast coming through the fresh, pale malt and floral, grassy hops. Flavors are of the same mold, fairly fresh and crisp, showing cereal grain malts, grassy hops, and balancing, doughy yeast. The palate is medium bodied, even keeled, and without major fault. Nice for a pils, and bravo to Oskar Blues for putting a decent, sessionable beer in a can. IrishBoy (2722), Bakersfield, California, USA

Urine yellow with a medium white head. Flavor is a bit of bitterness with a lemon note. Wish it was hoppier but the bitterness does increase as it finishes.
