| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2009 Can from papago. Pours golden in color with a frothy white head. Smells of yeast and buttered popcorn. Tastes the same with a crisp, almost crab apple, taste. Not bad - as far as pilsners go. yemenmocha (363), Glendale, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 5, 2009 Amazing head here!! Don’t drink from the can, since this one pours transparent pale golden color with rocky, foamy, meringue-like head. Aromas are fresh with a grain malty component and light herbal hops. On the palate it is light bodied, lightly sweet/malty, and a good herbal crispness from the hops. Easy drinking. bu11zeye (5495), Frisco, Texas, USA

Aroma of cereal, butter, grain, and huskiness. Flavor of corn, cereal, light lemon, and grassy hops. legion242 (1582), Richardson, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 5, 2009 Very, very drinkable little pils. Might just give me beloved St Arnold Summer Pils a run for it’s money this summer. durhambeer (1215), Durham, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2009 Can sampled at WBF in Raleigh. Looking forward to drinking more of these this summer, assuming we can get distro down here. Looks like a pils. I liked this beer quite a lot. Aroma was mild grassy/floral hops and some sweetness. Aroma was not as good as the taste. Better hop presence there. Hope to drink this on a pontoon boat or at the beat as much as possible this summer. As always, extra point for being in a can. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2009 Canned. The body was dark gold with a bright white head on top. The aroma was sweet with citrus and lemon pudding. The taste was bitter with some lemon peels and a black pepper finish. Clean and smooth. This is better than pale lagers, but far from a great pils. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2009 Can from Sam’s, Durham. Nice unassuming pils, less in the hop-forward style of the sorely missed Tuppers and more in the balanced style of Victory Prima. Good, refreshing, and lightly flavorful. nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 3, 2009 The aroma is really not all that impressive and except for a definite citrus element. It is basically malts and alcohol despite being only 5%, just like most pilseners. The appearance is pale gold with a sudsy head. The flavor is much better than most of the style with both rich malt and citrus hops. The palate is typical for the style. Overall good for a pils.
